Terms & conditions

Pay & Go Web Daily, Web Daily Bolt On, Monthly Data Bolt Ons and The Works One Off Bolt On Terms and Conditions

  1. Web Daily
  2. Web Daily Bolt On
  3. Monthly Data Bolt Ons
  4. The Works One Off Bolt On
  5. Terms and Conditions for all 4G services

1. Web Daily

  1. Once all your tariff and Bolt On data allowances have been used, any UK data usage will be charged at Web Daily rates. This will happen automatically provided you have sufficient credit. You will be charged at a rate of £3 per MB until you have spent £1 on data usage. At this point, further usage of data for that day will be free subject to a fair usage of 50MB for the day.
  2. Your Web Daily data allowance will not roll over from one day to another. For the avoidance of doubt, a day shall mean from 00:00 to 23:59 UK time on any given day.
  3. In the event that you use the full 50MB Web Daily allowance, you can purchase the Web Daily Bolt On for £1 which gives you a further 50MB to use that day.
  4. Web Daily allows you use of O2 UK's GPRS/Edge/3G/4G networks (as applicable to your handset and tariff and depending on your network coverage), and subject to the following excessive usage policy. All usage must be for your private, personal and non-commercial purposes. You may not use your SIM Card:

    • a. in, or connected to, any other device including modems; or
    • b. to allow the continuous streaming of any audio / video content, P2P or file sharing; or
    • c. in such a way that adversely impacts the service to other O2 customers; or
    • d. if O2 reasonably suspects you are not acting in accordance with this policy O2 reserves the right to impose standard charges (see o2.co.uk for details), impose network protection controls which may reduce your speed of transmission or disconnect your tariff for further data use until the following day.
  5. Data usage is measured in kilobytes (KB), megabytes (MB) and gigabytes (GB). 1 megabyte (MB) = 1024 Kilobytes (KB). 1 gigabyte (GB) = 1024 megabytes (MB).
  6. The prices mentioned above do not incorporate data roaming rates except for customers with the Ireland Bolt On. They will be charged Web Daily rates for data usage in the Republic of Ireland where they have an active Ireland Bolt On.
  7. O2 reserves the right to amend these Terms or the excessive usage policy at any time. Our updated Terms/policy will be posted on our website so please check our website from time to time. If we increase charges for the elements of the Service you are using we will notify you by text message or by email (if you have registered your email address with us) before the changes become effective.
  8. These Terms shall not apply to Pay & Go Mobile Broadband or iPad services

2. Purchasing Additional Web Daily Bolt Ons

  1. If you reach the 50MB limit of your Web Daily allowance, you can purchase the Web Daily Bolt On which gives you an additional allowance of 50MB of UK data for £1 (subject to having sufficient credit).
  2. You can purchase the Web Daily Bolt On by sending WEBDAILY to 21300.

  6. If you have the Web Daily Bolt On and a data allowance included within your tariff, your Web Daily Bolt On data allowance will always be used before your tariff's inclusive data allowance.
  7. Web Daily allows you use of O2 UK's GPRS/Edge/3G/4G networks (as applicable to your handset and tariff and depending on network coverage) and subject to the following excessive usage policy. All usage must be for your private, personal and non-commercial purposes. You may not use your SIM Card:

    • a. in, or connected to, any other device including modems; or
