Pay As You Go Big Bundles - Tariff Details

Terms applying for Big Bundles activated from 12 October 2023. These terms apply in addition to your standard Pay As You Go Service Terms. For Big Bundles activated prior to 12 October 2023 please see here.

  1. Big Bundles are available to O2 Pay As You Go customers in the UK.

  2. The current Big Bundles and their inclusive allowances are as follows:

    • £10 data Big Bundle which includes unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 8GB of data, with data rollover, in exchange for £10 each month;

    • £15 data Big Bundle which includes unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 25GB of data, with data rollover, and 50 international minutes to be used across 42 countries (excluding Alaska, Hawaii and the Virgin Islands which will be charged at our standard tariff rates – see clause 13 below) and international discounts in exchange for £15 a month;

    • £20 data Big Bundle which includes unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 40GB of data, with data rollover, and 50 international minutes to be used across 42 countries (excluding Alaska, Hawaii and the Virgin Islands which will be charged at our standard tariff rates – see clause 13 below) and international discounts in exchange for £20 a month;

    • £30 data Big Bundle which includes unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 125GB of data, with data rollover and 250 international minutes to be used across 42 countries (excluding Alaska, Hawaii and the Virgin Islands which will be charged at our standard tariff rates – see clause 13 below) and international discounts for £30 each month.

    • For a list of the 42 countries, please see https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/sim-cards/international-sim

  3. You may be on a Big Bundle that is no longer available for new customers or existing customers to switch to. See o2.co.uk/terms/legacybigbundle to view our legacy Big Bundle tariffs.

  4. To get a Big Bundle, you’ll need a Big Bundle sim card and your Big Bundle will start once you activate the Big Bundle by topping up your credit balance with at least the Big Bundle value. When we deduct the first month's payment for your Big Bundle from your credit balance, you will receive your inclusive monthly allowances which will be valid up until midnight of the day before your monthly Big Bundle renewal date, which will be one month from your Big Bundle start date.

  5. On your monthly renewal date, we will attempt to deduct payment from your credit balance and if successful, the Big Bundle will automatically renew on your monthly renewal date and you will receive your new inclusive monthly allowances. If you don't have enough credit balance, then the Big Bundle will not renew and you will not receive a new set of inclusive monthly allowances therefore you will be charged at our standard rates. To renew the Big Bundle again, you will need to top up a sufficient amount so that your credit balance is of at least the Big Bundle value and then we will deduct payment and provide you with another month's allowance which will be valid up until midnight of the day before your new monthly renewal date.

  6. If you don't have enough balance for us to deduct payment for the Big Bundle that you've selected, you'll be charged at standard tariff rates. Standard tariff rates for Big Bundles can be found at o2.co.uk/termsandconditions/mobile/pay-as-you-go-big-bundle-tariff-standard-rates.

  7. Once a month you can switch to a different Big Bundle by calling 2202 free from your O2 phone or via the My O2 app which will take effect from your Big Bundle renewal date

  8. Calls and texts allowances expire after one calendar month and cannot be rolled over. Data allowances can be used for 4G and non-4G data (excluding 5G).

  9. Data rollover is available on £10, £15, £20 and £30 data Big Bundles only. On your monthly renewal date you can carry forward up to 100% of your standard monthly data allowance (“Roll Over Data”) into the following month’s data bundle, subject to your total data bundle (Roll Over Data + standard monthly allowance) not exceeding 200% of your standard monthly data allowance at any one time. Any data that cannot be rolled over will expire. Roll Over Data will expire immediately if you fail to renew your Big Bundle on time or if you change tariffs.

 Inclusive Minutes and Call charges

  1. Eligible calls made using your inclusive minutes allowance are counted by the minute not by the second and will be rounded up to the nearest minute. Calls made outside your inclusive minutes allowance to landline and mobiles are charged by the minute, not by the second, and will be rounded up to the nearest minute. Each call charge is then rounded up to the next whole penny. Calls made outside your inclusive minutes allowance to voicemail are charged per call at the standard tariff rate.

  2. Your inclusive monthly allowance includes calls made from our Europe Zone (excluding the UK) to any destinations/countries within our Europe Zone (which includes UK to UK calls). Any calls made from outside of our Europe Zone (which includes Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man) or, when in the UK to a destination outside of the UK, or, when in our Europe Zone (excluding the UK) to a destination outside of our Europe Zone, will be charged at standard roaming or international call rates (unless you've taken a service from us that gives you different international call rates). You can see our current international rates at o2.co.uk/help/account-and-billing/calling-abroad-standard-rates.

  3. The £15, £20 and £30 data Big Bundles include reduced international rates while the bundle is active, when compared with standard international charges. For the latest country pricing please see o2.co.uk/intsim.

  4. The £15, £20 and £30 data Big Bundles include international minutes to 42 countries. To see the list of countries/destinations included in these Big Bundles please see o2.co.uk/intsim. O2 may exclude from your inclusive minutes allowance any calls which we reasonably believe are being used for call forwarding services, onward calling services or numbers that pay a revenue share.

  5. If you have a Bolt On which includes a UK minutes allowance, your inclusive minutes allowance will be used first followed by your Bolt On minutes allowance.

  6. Once you've used all your inclusive minutes allowance and any Bolt On minutes allowance you may have, any calls made in the UK to numbers which would previously have been included will be charged at the standard tariff rate.

  7. Calls to O2 Customer Service on 4445 from your O2 mobile are free or you can call 0344 809 0222 from any other line. Hours of opening are 8am to 9pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm Saturday and 8am to 6pm Sunday.

  2. O2 may exclude from your inclusive texts allowance any texts sent to any number ranges which O2 reasonably believes are being used for call forwarding services, onward calling services or numbers that pay a revenue share.

  3. If you have a Bolt On which includes a UK texts allowance, your inclusive texts allowance will be used first followed by your Bolt On texts allowance.

  4. Once you've used all your inclusive texts allowance and any Bolt On texts allowance you may have, any UK texts sent to UK mobiles will be charged at the standard tariff rate.

Inclusive Data and Data Charges

  1. Your inclusive monthly data allowance can be used in the UK and when roaming in our Europe Zone, up to 25GB. If your UK data allowance is over 25GB, you’ll have a roaming limit of 25GB when roaming in our Europe Zone. This means you can use up to 25GB of your allowance at no extra cost. We’ll text you if you’re getting close to the limit, and again if you reach it. You can still use data if you reach our roaming limit, but you’ll be charged. When using your phone whilst abroad outside of your inclusive monthly data allowance or outside of our Europe Zone, data will be charged at standard roaming rates. For details, visit o2.co.uk/abroad.

  2. If you have a Bolt On which includes a UK data allowance, your inclusive data allowance will be used first followed by your Bolt On data allowance. This does not apply to the Web Daily Bolt On which will always be used before your inclusive data allowance.

  3. After you've used your inclusive data allowance and any Bolt On data allowance you may have, you'll be charged at standard tariff rates when using data in the UK subject to a daily fair usage. See Pay As You Go Web Daily, Web Daily Bolt On, Monthly Data Bolt Ons, The Works One Off Bolt On and The Snack One Off Bolt On Terms and Conditions at o2.co.uk/terms for full details.

  4. A day is based on from 00:00 to 23:59 UK time.
