We've got the hat-trick
For the third year in a row, UK consumers have scored our website higher than the likes of Apple, John Lewis and the BBC, awarding us overall winner of Website of the Year, yet again.
We were ranked against 228 websites across 20 industries on four elements: content, navigation, design and recommendation intention.
The award ties in with the end of a three year transformation programme which has seen a complete redesign of our homepage, shop and help and support pages, an improved checkout journey, and an overall better user experience.
But our effort and investment doesn't stop there. We're continually understanding what our customers need and improving the website to deliver that. In fact, the team has a backlog of 150 new ideas to work through next year.
Thanks to everyone who voted for our website. The fight is now on to retain our crown for a fourth year.
Our Pay As You Go network is a winner
We won Best Pay As You Go Network in the uSwitch Mobile Awards 2017. And we couldn’t be prouder, as we’re working hard to keep our Pay As You Go customers happy.
uSwitch liked our Big Bundles, for people who want to pay a set amount for their data, minutes and texts. They were impressed with our rates for international calls, along with our regular double data offers. And, of course, our Priority app was the icing on the cake, offering freebies and exclusive discounts to everyone on O2.
