International calls and texts

Calling or texting any country (even within our Europe Zone) from the UK is classed as an international call or text. That means you’ll be charged at standard international rates below..

However, if you have an active International Big Bundle, Premium International Big Bundle, UK & International Big Bundle, £20 Big Bundle, £30 Big Bundle or an International Sim you’ll get access to bundled international minutes and/or discounted rates. If you have a bundle tariff, you’ll only get access to discounted rates whilst you have an active bundle. Otherwise, you’ll pay the standard rates.

EU destinations include: Austria, Azores, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canary Islands, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, French Guiana, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guadeloupe, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Madeira, Malta, Martinique, Mayotte, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Saint-Martin, Sweden

International Big Bundles

Our International Big Bundles come with minutes that you can use to call in the UK or to call destinations abroad (landlines and mobiles). They start from £10 a month and include UK to UK texts and data. You can roll over your data too. Once you have used your allowances, you'll pay our International Big Bundles Standard rates:

•    Calls cost 35p a minute
•    Texts cost 15p each (excluding picture or premium messages)
•    100MB of data costs £2 a day
•    Discounted international rates apply only whilst your bundle is active, see here

Your renewal date

On your renewal date, if you've topped up by at least the minimum amount in the last month, you'll get your new inclusive monthly allowance. If you haven't, you won't get a new allowance. If you've got any credit left, you'll still be able to call, text and use data at our standard rates until it's all gone. You'll need to top up the right amount to qualify for another month's allowance. When this happens, your new allowance will be valid up until midnight of the day before your new renewal date - one calendar month later.

Topping up

The easiest way to top up, is through My O2, ro via the My O2 app.

Simply sign in and select ‘Top up your phone’, then choose how much you’d like to top up.

Sign in to My O2, and we’ll automatically show you your remaining allowances.

Changing tariffs & adding Bolt Ons

You can switch between tariffs once a month.

The easiest way to do this is by signing in to My O2 and checking your options.

If you are part way through your current tariff month, your request to switch to a new tariff will take effect on your next renewal date.

You can add Bolt Ons whenever you like by visiting My O2 and clicking My tariff and Bolt Ons.
