UNiDAYS Student Offer - 20% off O2 Refresh Airtime Plans and Accessories (As of 29 August 2019)

This offer allows students who have an active and valid UNiDAYS account to get 20% off the Airtime Plan of an O2 Refresh contract and select accessories purchased directly from O2 (the "Offer"). The Promoter of this Offer is Telefónica UK Limited having its registered office at 260 Bath Road, Slough SL1 4DX ("O2"). These terms and conditions govern the Offer. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully.

  1. The Offer can be redeemed by:
    • UK residents;
    • 18+;
    • who are students; and
    • have an active and valid UNiDAYS account ("Students").
    If you don’t have a UNiDAYS account but qualify for one, go to o2.co.uk/studentoffer and click “create account” to sign up.

  2. Students will be eligible to redeem 20% discount on:
    • the Airtime Plan of a new or upgrading O2 Refresh contract taken out with an eligible handset, tablet, hotspot or dongle (excluded devices will be listed on o2.co.uk/studentoffer as determined solely by O2 from time to time) ("Airtime Discount"); and
    • selected accessories purchased from O2 (excluding wearables such as smart watches, smart bands and fitness trackers, and any other accessories listed on o2.co.uk/studentoffer as determined solely by O2 from time to time) ("Accessories Discount")
    (each a “Discount” and together the "Discounts").

  3. For the avoidance of doubt, the Airtime Discount will not be applied to the cost of the device. SIM only, Pay As You Go, Family Plans, Sharer Plans and O2 Business tariffs are not eligible for the Airtime Discount.

  4. The Airtime Discount can be redeemed in O2 stores, on o2.co.uk and through the O2 call centre.

  5. The Accessories Discount can be redeemed in O2 stores, on o2.co.uk and through the O2 call centre.

  6. Each of the redemption processes set out in clauses 7 to 12 below is a “Redemption Process” and together are the “Redemption Processes”.

  7. To redeem the Airtime Discount online, you must:
    • sign into your UNiDAYS account by:
      • visiting o2.co.uk/studentoffer, clicking “sign in to UNiDAYS” and logging into your account; or
      • visiting the UNiDAYS app or website (myunidays.com) and logging into your account
    • locate the voucher code on the UNiDAYs app or website (search “O2” to find the Discounts) and retrieve your code by clicking “Get now” (each a “Code”);
    • visit our online shop (o2.co.uk), choose an eligible smartphone, tablet or mobile broadband device on an O2 Refresh contract and add it to your basket; and
    • apply the Code in the ‘got a promocode?’ section of the basket on o2.co.uk.
    The Code cannot be applied retrospectively.

  8. To redeem the Airtime Discount on the telephone through an O2 call centre, you must:
    • sign into your UNiDAYS account by:
      • visiting o2.co.uk/studentoffer, clicking “sign in to UNiDAYS” and logging into your account; or
      • visiting the UNiDAYS app or website (myunidays.com) and logging into your account;
    • locate the voucher code on the UNiDAYs app or website (search “O2” to find the Discounts) and retrieve your code by clicking “Get now” (each a “Code”);
    • contact our call centre by calling 202 from an o2 mobile or 03448090202 from any other number; and
    • quote the Code to the voice agent before placing your order.
  9. To redeem the Airtime Discount in an O2 store you must:
    • visit an O2 store and purchase an eligible device on an eligible O2 Refresh contract (the “Purchase”);
    • within 28 days of the Purchase:
      • Sign into your UNiDAYS account by:
        • visiting o2.co.uk/studentoffer, clicking “Get your stores code” and logging into your account; or
        • visiting the UNiDAYS app or website (myunidays.com) and logging into your account;
      • locate your Code on the UNiDAYs app or website (search “O2” to find the Discounts) and retrieve your Code by clicking “Get now”;
      • text the Code to 61202; and
      • follow the text instructions.
  10. To redeem the Accessories Discount online, you must:
    • sign into your UNiDAYS account by visiting the UNiDAYS app or website (myunidays.com) and logging into your account
    • locate the voucher Code on the UNiDAYs app or website (search “O2” to find the Discounts) and retrieve your Code by clicking “Get now”; and
    • visit our online shop (o2.co.uk), choose an eligible accessory and add it to your basket; and
    • apply the Code in the ‘got a promocode?’ section of the basket on o2.co.uk.
  11. To redeem the Accessories Discount on the telephone through an O2 call centre, you must:
    • sign into your UNiDAYS account by visiting the UNiDAYS app or website (myunidays.com) and logging into your account;
    • locate your Code on the UNiDAYs app or website (search “O2” to find the Discounts) and retrieve your Code by clicking “Get now”;
    • contact our call centre by calling 202 from an o2 mobile or 03448090202 from any other number; and
    • if the advisor informs you that the eligible accessory is available to order through the call centre, quote the Code to the voice agent before placing your order.
  12. To redeem the Accessories Discount in an O2 store, you must:
    • visit an O2 shop, choose an eligible accessory; and
    • present your verified, valid UNiDAYS ID on the UNiDAYS app or website to member of staff at the checkout.
  13. The Airtime Discount will be applied within approximately three (3) working days of completing a Redemption Process (the "Process Period").

  14. Certain components of the Redemption Processes (including any keywords and verification codes) are provided by Myunidays Limited of 2 Castle Boulevard, Nottingham, NG7 1FB. Use of this section of the O2 website will be subject to this third party’s terms and conditions. O2 cannot be held responsible for and do not accept any liability, either express or implied as to such components, including but not limited to their accuracy, relevance or quality.

  15. You acknowledge and agree that O2 is not responsible for the availability of any third party products and services or what you access through a Redemption Process. O2 shall not be held responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products or services available from such third parties. Any dealings between you and any other third party, including services and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are made between you and the third party. Therefore, O2 are not responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as the result of any such dealings.

  17. O2 does not guarantee that the Airtime Discount will be applied within the Process Period and reserves the right to extend the Process Period at any time.

  18. The Discounts cannot be taken in conjunction with any other O2 offers or discounts (including O2's Friends and Family discount).

  19. The Airtime Discount is limited to one discount per device type per person, therefore you can only redeem the discount on one O2 Refresh mobile contract and on one O2 Refresh tablet contract.

  20. You will lose the Airtime Discount:
    • if you cancel or return your Device or contract under O2's Change of Mind period; or
    • when your Device Plan comes to an end (which will include if you upgrade).
  21. O2 reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Offer at any time on reasonable notice.

  22. For the avoidance of doubt, the Offer only includes the Discounts and there will be no cash or other alternatives.

  23. If any provision of these terms and conditions is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.

  24. The Offer is governed by English Law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
