Pay As You Go Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are effective from 21 July 2021.

Please note this Bolt On will no longer be available to existing customers to opt in to from 21 July 2021 onwards.

  1. The Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On is available to all Telefónica UK Limited (“O2”) Pay As You Go customers.
  2. The Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On gives you 50 minutes of calls from the UK to UK landlines and mobiles (excluding video calls) and calls from our Europe Zone (excluding the UK) to landlines and mobiles in our Europe Zone (excluding video calls) and 1GB of data in our Europe Zone for £12 payment (subject to having sufficient credit).
  3. You can purchase the Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On by sending SNACKMINS50DATA1GB to 21300 or by calling 2202 for free from your O2 mobile.
  4. The allowances you receive from the Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On will expire at 23:59 31 days after the day on which you purchase the Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On.
  5. You can purchase multiple Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt Ons. Each time you purchase the Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On, an additional 50 minutes and 1GB of data will be added to any remaining allowances from your previous purchase(s) of the Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On and the Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On will expire 31 days after the day on which you last purchased the Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On. Provided you have credit, you will be charged £12 each time the Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On is successfully applied. If you do not have sufficient credit, you will not be able to purchase the Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On.
  6.  Eligible calls made using your Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On allowance are counted by the minute not by the second and will be rounded up to the nearest minute.
  7. Your Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On calls allowance can be used for calls (excluding video calls) made in the UK from your O2 mobile to:
    1. UK landlines starting 01, 02 or 03; and
    2. Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man landlines; and
    3. Numbers allocated to UK mobile network operators that provide mobile services with substantial national coverage. This currently includes the major mobile operators O2, Everything Everywhere, Vodafone and Three, and other virtual mobile providers such as Virgin Mobile and Tesco Mobile.
  8. Your Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On calls allowance can be used for calls (excluding video calls) made in our Europe Zone (excluding the UK) from your O2 mobile to:
    1. landlines in our Europe Zone; and
    2. Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man landlines; and
    3. Numbers allocated to mobile network operators that provide mobile services with substantial national coverage in our Europe Zone.
  9. Your Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On calls allowance cannot be used for the following calls:
    1. Video calls
    2. Calls to 08, 05 and 07 service numbers. Charges for calls to these numbers can be viewed at o2.co.uk/servicenumbers
    3. Calls to premium rate and directory enquiries numbers. Charges for calls to these numbers can be viewed at o2.co.uk/premium
    4. Any calls made whilst outside our Europe Zone, including whilst in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man, will be charged at standard roaming rates, which can be viewed at o2.co.uk/abroad
    5. Any calls made from the UK to an international destination, including Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man mobiles, will be charged at standard international rates, which can be viewed at o2.co.uk/international
    6. Any calls from our Europe Zone (excluding the UK) to any destination outside of our Europe Zone, will be charged at standard roaming rates, which can be viewed at o2.co.uk/abroad
  10. O2 may exclude from your Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On allowance any calls which we reasonably believe are being used for fraudulent purposes or for call forwarding services, onward calling services or numbers that pay a revenue share.
  11. If you have a tariff allowance which includes calls to landlines and mobiles in our Europe Zone, your tariff allowance will be used first followed by your Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On calls allowance.
  12. If you have a monthly recurring calls Bolt On which includes calls to landlines and mobiles in our Europe Zone, your Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On calls allowance will be used first followed by your monthly recurring calls Bolt On allowance.
  13. If you have the Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On alongside a More Minutes Bolt On, calls will use your More Minutes Bolt On allowance first followed by your Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On calls allowance.
  14. Your Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On data allowance can only be used in our Europe Zone.
  15. If you have a tariff allowance which includes Europe Zone data, your tariff allowance will be used first followed by your Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On data allowance.
  16. If you have a monthly recurring data Bolt On, your Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On data allowance will be used first followed by your monthly recurring data Bolt On allowance.
  17. If you have the Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On alongside a Web Daily or Europe Zone Web Daily Bolt On, your Web Daily or Europe Zone Web Daily Bolt On allowance will be used first followed by your Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On data allowance.
  18. You can use O2 UK's 2G (GPRS and Edge), 3G and 4G data networks when using your Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On data allowance.
  19. In order to use our 4G data network, you will need a 4G enabled device with 4G coverage.
  20. You can view your remaining Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On allowances by visiting o2.co.uk/myo2 or alternatively you can send BALANCE to 20202 or by calling 4444 for free from your O2 mobile.
  21. O2 reserves the right to remove, vary or amend any element of these terms and conditions and / or the Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On upon reasonable notice. If we amend or withdraw these terms and conditions and / or the Snack 50 Minutes and 1GB Bolt On to your material disadvantage we will notify you. Notice will be provided by text message. Changes will be effective immediately upon our having notified you.
