Pay As You Go 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are effective from 3 August 2017.

  1. The 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On is available to all Telefónica UK Limited (“O2”) Pay As You Go customers.
  2. The 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On gives you 50 minutes of calls from the UK to UK landlines and mobiles (excluding video calls) and calls from our Europe Zone (excluding the UK) to landlines and mobiles in our Europe Zone (excluding video calls) and 1GB of data in our Europe Zone for £12 payment each month.
  3. You can opt in to the 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On either by sending MINS50DATA1GB to 21300, calling 2202 for free from your O2 mobile or online at o2.co.uk/myo2.
  4. When we deduct the first month's payment for your 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On from your credit, you will receive your 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On monthly allowances which will expire at 23:59 the day before your monthly renewal date, which will be one calendar month later.
  5. On your Bolt On monthly renewal date, we will attempt to deduct the £12 monthly payment from your credit, and if successful, you will receive your new 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On monthly allowances. If you don't have enough credit, then you will not receive a new set of 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On monthly allowances. You will need to top up a sufficient amount so that we can deduct payment and provide you with another month's allowance. When this happens, you will receive new 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On monthly allowances and these will be valid up until 23:59 the day before your new 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On monthly renewal date which will be one calendar month later.
  6. You can opt out of the 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On either by sending MINS50DATA1GBOFF to 21300, calling 2202 for free from your O2 mobile or online at o2.co.uk/myo2.
  7. Eligible calls made using your 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On allowance are counted by the minute not by the second and will be rounded up to the nearest minute.
  8. Your 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On calls allowance can be used for calls (excluding video calls) made in the UK from your O2 mobile to:
    1. UK landlines starting 01, 02 or 03; and
    2. Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man landlines; and
    3. Numbers allocated to UK mobile network operators that provide mobile services with substantial national coverage. This currently includes the major mobile operators O2, Everything Everywhere, Vodafone and Three, and other virtual mobile providers such as Virgin Mobile and Tesco Mobile.
  9. Your 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On calls allowance can be used for calls (excluding video calls) made in our Europe Zone (excluding the UK) from your O2 mobile to:
    1. landlines in our Europe Zone; and
    2. Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man landlines; and
    3. Numbers allocated to mobile network operators that provide mobile services with substantial national coverage in our Europe Zone.
  10. Your 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On calls allowance cannot be used for the following calls:
    1. Video calls
    2. Calls to 08, 05 and 07 service numbers. Charges for calls to these numbers can be viewed at o2.co.uk/servicenumbers
    3. Calls to premium rate and directory enquiries numbers. Charges for calls to these numbers can be viewed at o2.co.uk/premium
    4. Any calls made whilst outside our Europe Zone, including whilst in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man, will be charged at standard roaming rates, which can be viewed at o2.co.uk/abroad
    5. Any calls made from the UK to an international destination, including Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man mobiles, will be charged at standard international rates, which can be viewed at o2.co.uk/international
    6. Any calls from our Europe Zone (excluding the UK) to any destination outside of our Europe Zone, will be charged at standard roaming rates, which can be viewed at o2.co.uk/abroad
  11. O2 may exclude from your 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On allowance any calls which we reasonably believe are being used for fraudulent purposes or for call forwarding services, onward calling services or numbers that pay a revenue share.
  12. If you have a tariff allowance which includes calls to landlines and mobiles in our Europe Zone, your tariff allowance will be used first followed by your 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On calls allowance.
  13. If you have a Snacking (one-off) Bolt On which includes calls to landlines and mobiles in our Europe Zone, your Snacking Bolt On calls allowance will be used first followed by your 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On calls allowance.
  14. Your 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On data allowance can only be used in our Europe Zone.
  15. If you have a tariff allowance which includes Europe Zone data, your tariff allowance will be used first followed by your 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On data allowance.
  16. If you have a Snacking (one-off) Bolt On which includes Europe Zone data, your Snacking Bolt On data allowance will be used first followed by your 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On data allowance.
  17. You can use O2 UK's 2G (GPRS and Edge), 3G and 4G data networks when using your 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On data allowance.
  18. In order to use our 4G data network, you will need a 4G enabled device with 4G coverage.
  19. You can view your remaining 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On allowances by visiting o2.co.uk/myo2 or alternatively you can send BALANCE to 20202 or by calling 4444 for free from your O2 mobile.
  20. O2 reserves the right to remove, vary or amend any element of these terms and conditions and / or the 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On upon reasonable notice. If we amend or withdraw these terms and conditions and / or the 50 Minutes and 1GB Monthly Bolt On to your material disadvantage we will notify you. Notice will be provided by text message. Changes will be effective immediately upon our having notified you.
