If you’re a Digital Whiz, we think you’ll love the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. It packs in the latest features, including a fingerprint scanner built into the display. It’s got a powerful Dual NPU Chipset, so you can spend the whole day multitasking. And you can impress everyone you know with Wireless Reverse Charge. It lets you power up some other devices, so you can save the day when your mates are running low on battery.

If you’re a Young Professional, we think you’ll love the Samsung Galaxy S9. It's a popular phone, and there are plenty of reasons why. First of all, it's stunning. It sports Samsung’s iconic infinity screen and curved edges, so it looks and feels luxurious. Then there are the features. It’s got a reimagined camera that takes beautiful photos in any light and can record videos in super slow motion. It’ll even let you turn your videos into gifs that could turn you into a viral sensation. And it’s perfect for taking on holiday, with an IP68 waterproof rating and a live translation feature that’ll do the hard work for you.

If you’re a Busy Parent, we think you’ll love the moto g6 play. It’s got a battery that can last up to 32 hours, so it’s perfect for when you’re too busy to think about powering up (or when one of the kids has pinched your charger). You can use fingerprint recognition to make sure the little ones can’t get into your phone without your say so. And with a rapid focus camera, it’s perfect for those spontaneous family snaps. Download the Priority app onto your phone and you’ll be able to enjoy extra treats, on us. You’ve earned it.

If you’re a Fun Lover, we think you’ll love the OnePlus 6. It’s perfect for streaming on the go, with a 6.28 inch screen and super speedy processor. You don’t have to worry if you run out of juice either. OnePlus Fast Charging gives you a day’s power in just half an hour, and it’ll keep your phone cool while it’s charging too. But the most impressive feature of the OnePlus 6 is probably its 16MP/20MP dual camera. It comes with a video editor and new bokeh effects, so you can get creative and feel like a professional photographer. And its stabilising settings will help you avoid blurry pictures. So you can capture perfect snaps for your Instagram or Pinterest.

If you’re a Tech Beginner, we think you'll love the Samsung Galaxy A6. It’s easy to switch to Simple Mode, so you’ll have everything you need in a simple format. You can take photos from the main camera or selfie camera, and then upload them to Facebook to share with your friends and family. And it packs the 5.6 inch screen into a compact design, so you'll be able to hold it comfortably in one hand.

If you’re a Budgeting Expert, we think you’ll love the Alcatel 3. It’s got all the features you’d expect from a smartphone, like face and fingerprint recognition, a FullView HD+ display and a 13MP back camera. And it looks like a premium phone too, with its high gloss finish and curved design. But don’t worry – it doesn’t come with a premium price tag, so it won’t do too much damage to your bank balance. You can even choose your upfront cost and Device Plan length, with our custom plans.

What we think

The perfect Android phone depends on who you are and how you'll use it. But it wouldn't be a proper battle if we didn't pick a winner. So we spoke to Sunil, who’s the Store Manager of our Slough, Bath Road store, to get his opinion on the best Android phone.

“I’d choose the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. It’s got a Triple Leica camera, so it’s great for taking pictures. And you can use it to charge another phone, just by placing them together.”

Still stuck? Book some time with one of our Gurus in store, and they'll give you a hand finding the right Android phone.
