With the introduction of new navigation apps and mobile traffic alerts, we’ve seen a decline in the number of people calling TrafficLine, so have decided to close the service.

TrafficLine for O2 is a premium rate service. The TrafficLine service is currently accessed by dialling 1200 and the charge is 45.9p per min.

How can I check traffic information if I don’t have a smartphone?

Most car radios have a traffic announcements feature called Traffic Announcement (TA) which broadcasts traffic reports, to help with route planning, and for avoiding traffic jams. Car radios that have this feature can be set to regularly broadcast traffic bulletins.
