118 402 offers our O2 customers a new Directory Enquiries service which includes:
- UK local and national business and residential fixed-line listings
- Call connection to UK business and residential numbers
- Calls are answered quickly and queries are dealt with efficiently
- Free text of the number you're looking for straight to your mobile
How much does it cost?
118 402 costs just 60p a minute (including VAT), considerably cheaper than most other 118 numbers which can cost £1.50 a minute.

If you make lots of Directory Enquiry calls, check our website regularly for all the latest price updates as they are subject to change. (Unfortunately, as we can't notify you individually about price changes for calls to Directory numbers operated by third parties, it's the best way to stay informed.)
From 1st December 2009, we're simplifying our call costs to other national Directory Enquiries numbers (including 118500 and 118118) to £1.50 a minute and International Directory Enquiries to £2 a minute. Calls to 118 402 remain at just 60p.
