This Prize Draw is open to participants who are aged 18 or over and UK residents, but excluding employees of O2, or any of its subsidiary companies, their families, agents or anyone else connected with this promotion. No third-party entries, bulk entries or entries submitted by agents will be accepted. O2 reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. O2 may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for the purpose of verifying the eligibility of an entry and the Prize may be withheld until and unless O2 is satisfied with the verification.
Only one entry per person and per mobile phone number (if applicable) is allowed. Entries not complying with these terms and conditions will be invalid.
The Prize Draw runs during the Prize Draw Dates until the specified Closing Date. Entries received after this date and time will not be entered into the Prize Draw.
Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The instructions provided at the point of entry also form part of the terms & conditions of this Prize Draw, and in the event of a conflict, these terms & conditions take precedence.
The winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received. Each winner (as applicable) will be notified within a reasonable time after the Draw Date or any subsequent draw either by email, mail or telephone. The Prize is awarded conditionally upon acceptance and if a winner is unable to be contacted after a reasonable period or if any Prize is unclaimed or declined within a reasonable period, the Prize shall be deemed as unclaimed or unaccepted and a supplementary winner may be drawn at O2's discretion.
O2 will not be responsible for any inability of a Prize winner to take up the specified Prize.
Unless otherwise expressly stated, where the Prize requires attendance at a specific venue, the winner and any permitted companions will be solely responsible for travel to and from the venue and all other expenses. O2 assumes no responsibility and is not liable for any costs, charges or expenses which winners may be required to pay at any time in connection with a Prize.
O2 reserves the right to provide substitute prize(s) of similar value should the specified Prize(s) become unavailable for reasons beyond its control. Cash or credit alternatives will not be offered. None of the Prizes are transferable.
O2 accepts no responsibility for incorrectly completed, lost or delayed entries, notices, acceptances, tickets or other documents related to the Prize(s).
In the event of fraud, abuse, and/or an error affecting the proper operation of this Prize Draw, including the allocation of more Prizes than are available, O2 reserves the right to end or suspend the Prize Draw; amend these terms & conditions; declare void the notification of winner(s); and/or to allocate available Prizes by conducting a simple draw from all wrongly allocated winners.
If any provision of these terms and conditions is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
The winner(s) may be required to participate in publicity connected with this Prize Draw and it is a condition of entry that the winner(s) agree to their name and country of residence being made publicly available if they win. If the winner wishes to object to any or all of their surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, the winner should contact O2 immediately.
The names of the major winner(s) may be obtained by sending a signed handwritten request along with a stamped self-addressed envelope detailing your request to the Marketing Team, Telefónica O2 UK Limited, 500 Brook Drive, Reading, RG2 6UU, and marked with the name of the Prize Draw.
If you decide to enter the Prize Draw, O2 will ask for your name, email address and phone number to be submitted via https://www.o2.co.uk/get-release-updates (“Submission”). O2 need to use this information to run and administer the Prize Draw and communicate with you about it (for example if you win a Prize). This includes determining whether you are eligible as per these terms and conditions, notifying you if you are the winner, communicate with you as required in relation to this Prize Draw, and arranging the delivery of your Prize to your postal address or email address. O2 may also need to share some of the above categories of personal information with other parties, such as our selected marketing agencies, in the context of administering the Prize Draw. These third parties, such as PromoVeritas, act based on O2’s instructions and are its data processors. When O2 uses your personal data to administer the Prize Draw and communicate with you about it, O2 relies on legitimate interests. O2 retains your personal data for six (6) months upon the completion of the Prize Draw to ensure compliance with these terms and administer the Prize Draw. O2 may also need to keep this information for audit, compliance and legal purposes.
O2 will also use the contact details you’ve provided to contact you about the products and services you’ve selected to hear about via SMS, email and phone call. In addition to any other specific products and services you may have selected via https://www.o2.co.uk/get-release-updates, O2 will let you know about things like new Samsung product announcements, launch dates and pre-order opportunities. In this case, O2 relies on your consent to marketing provided via https://www.o2.co.uk/get-release-updates. You can withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing at https://www.o2.co.uk/getupdates/unsubscribe. For more information about how O2 uses personal data and your rights under data protection law, please see the O2 Privacy Policy. If you don’t want O2 to send you this kind of information, please don’t submit the details in the Submission and you will not be entered into the Prize Draw.
Unless the winner objects, O2 may publish or make available winner’s details if requested to demonstrate that a valid award took place. Winner’s entry, name, social media username and/or photos may be used for promotional purposes including for display on the O2 social media channels. By participating to this Prize Draw, entrants are confirming that they understand the O2 Privacy Policy.
O2’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
O2 reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
O2 reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the promotion and/or review and revise these terms and conditions at any time without giving prior notice and by continuing to take part in the promotion subsequent to any revision of these terms and conditions, entrants shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended terms.
This promotion is governed by English Law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
