When was the PS5 Pro released?

The PlayStation 5 Pro launched 7 November, 2024, and now available to buy at O2 on a Pay Monthly plan.

What are the PS5 Pro specs?

Is PS5 Pro backwards compatible?

Yes. PS5 Pro plays over 8,500 PS4 titles, and Game Boost enhances performance and visuals in selected PS4 and PS5 games.

How much storage does the PS5 Pro have?

Upgrade your storage space on the Pro's massive 2TB SSD. Plus, easy expansion via M.2 NVMe SSD or external USB storage. A portion of the SSD is reserved for system software and other functions so the available SSD capacity may vary.

Does the PS5 Pro include a disc drive?

No, it doesn't. The Pro is an all-digital console, but you can buy a removable disc drive if you prefer physical games.

Direct purchases only. Pay the cash price for your device or spread the cost over 3 to 36 months (excludes dongles). Certain device costs available to be spread over 3 to 48 months. The device cost will be the same whatever you choose. There may be an upfront cost. You can pay off your Device Plan at any time and choose to keep your Airtime Plan, upgrade it, or leave. If you are in the first 24 months of your Device Plan and you cancel your Airtime Plan you will have to pay the remainder of your Device Plan in full. After 24 months you can keep your Airtime Plan, upgrade it, or end it without affecting your Device Plan.

 

 

Plans unlink after 24 months

 

For customers who took out an O2 Refresh custom plan on or after 17 December 2021, your Airtime Plan and Device plans unlink after 24 months. This means that if you are in the first 24 months of your Device Plan you will have to pay off your Device Plan in full if you decide to end your Airtime Plan (but we won’t charge you an Early Termination Charge to exit your Airtime Plan). 

 

After 24 months you can: keep your Airtime and Device Plans without changing anything, Cancel your Airtime Plan and keep paying off your Device Plan instalments or, Cancel your Airtime Plan and pay off your Device Plan in full. For customers who took out an O2 Refresh custom plan before the 17 December 2021, the Airtime and Device Plans remain linked for the duration of the Device Plan, this means you will have to pay off your Device Plan in full if you decide to end your Airtime Plan at any point (but we won’t charge you an Early Termination Charge to exit your Airtime Plan).
