Apple has been busy this year. From a new generation of iPhone to the first foldable iPhone, refreshed smartwatches and new AirPods, there’s plenty of new tech to get excited about.
Whether you’re thinking about upgrading your phone, getting more serious about fitness or simply want better sound for your commute, we’ve rounded up some of the biggest new Apple releases and the features worth knowing about.
Who it's best for: Content creators, keen photographers and anyone who wants flagship performance without stepping up to the larger Pro Max. The 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR display keeps things relatively compact, while the new camera and A20 Pro chip give you plenty of power when you need it. Apple describes the new A20 Pro and vapour chamber combination as delivering its highest sustained iPhone performance yet.
Key specs: The big upgrade is the new 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture, giving you more control over depth of field and improving low-light photos and video. There’s an A20 Pro chip with next-generation vapour cooling underneath it all, plus a 6.3-inch ProMotion display with up to 120Hz refresh rate.
If photography is high on your list when choosing a new iPhone, iPhone 18 Pro brings one of the biggest changes with the new variable-aperture main camera.
Who it's best for: Big-screen fans, photographers and heavy phone users who put battery life near the top of their wish list. You get the key Pro features of iPhone 18 Pro but on a larger 6.9-inch display, making it a great fit for gaming, editing photos and video, or settling in for something to watch.
Key specs: Like its smaller sibling, iPhone 18 Pro Max features Apple's A20 Pro chip and the new 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture. The standout difference is battery life: Apple rates the Pro Max for up to 43 hours of video playback, up to six hours more than iPhone 17 Pro Max.
So if going longer between charges matters more than keeping things compact, iPhone 18 Pro Max is the one to watch.
Who it's best for: Multitaskers and tech enthusiasts who want something genuinely different from their next iPhone. iPhone Duo is Apple’s first foldable iPhone, combining an outer display for everyday use with a much bigger screen when unfolded. Open it up and you can use two apps side by side, watch video while using another app or simply give your content more room to breathe.
Key specs: The headliner is the foldable display, which Apple says is its largest iPhone display yet and 50% larger than iPhone 18 Pro Max when open. There’s a Grade 5 titanium frame and hinge cover, Ceramic Shield front and back, a 48MP Dual Fusion camera system and the same vapour-cooled A20 Pro chip found in the Pro range.
Storage starts at 256GB, with 512GB, 1TB and 2TB options available. It’s a very different take on iPhone, and you can explore iPhone Duo at O2.
Who it's best for: Everyday Apple Watch users who want to keep a closer eye on their health, fitness and recovery. The new Health Sensing System brings higher-frequency heart monitoring, while a new readiness score uses recent activity, vitals and sleep to help you understand whether it might be a day to push yourself or prioritise recovery.
Key specs: Apple Watch Series 12 adds the new S11 chip and Health Sensing System, alongside up to 24 hours of normal battery life and fast charging that can add up to 12 hours of battery life in 15 minutes. It comes in 42mm and 46mm sizes, with 64GB capacity. Compared with Series 11, the aluminium model also gets Ceramic Shield 2, which is 60% tougher than the glass on Series 11.
If those health and fitness upgrades sound like they’re made for your wrist, Apple Watch Series 12 could be right for you.
Who it's best for: Runners, endurance athletes and outdoor adventurers who need more battery life and a watch built for tougher conditions. Its 49mm titanium case, precision dual-frequency GPS and built-in satellite communications make Ultra 4 the more adventure-focused choice in the latest Apple Watch range.
Key specs: Apple Watch Ultra 4 runs on the S11 chip and brings the new Health Sensing System, higher-frequency heart rate and HRV measurements and a new readiness score. Battery life is a major upgrade, reaching up to 50 hours of normal use and up to 45 hours of Max Extended Workout tracking.
There's 64GB of storage, WR100 water resistance and built-in satellite communications too, making Apple Watch Ultra 4 particularly well suited to longer adventures away from your phone.
Who it's best for: Commuters, music lovers and Apple users looking for an everyday pair of earbuds without switching to an in-ear Pro design. AirPods 5 keep an open-ear fit, but bring Active Noise Cancellation as standard across both models.
Key specs: The H2 chip powers Active Noise Cancellation that's up to 1.5x more effective than the previous generation, alongside Adaptive Audio, Transparency, Conversation Awareness and Personalised Spatial Audio. Battery life reaches up to four hours with ANC on the standard model, or five hours with the Wireless Charging Case model and up to 22 hours in total with that case.
There's also improved IP57 dust, sweat and water resistance. If you're ready to tune out the noise on your commute, you can shop AirPods 5 at O2.
Apple’s latest line-up brings something for just about everyone. Whatever you’re looking for, you can explore the latest Apple devices at O2 and find the tech that’s right for you.
