- How do I get Apple Music?
If you are joining O2 or upgrading, you can get Apple Music on selected tariffs and devices when completing your order online, in store, or over the phone. You can also get Apple Music when you spread the cost of an eligible product on a Device Plan, and with Apple Watch Series 6 on an Unlimited tariff.
- How do I redeem the offer?
If you’ve bought a product or accessory on a Device Plan, we’ll send you an SMS in the next few days with a link to Apple Music. Enter your details to subscribe and start enjoying your favourite Apple Music tracks.
If you’ve purchased an eligible airtime tariff, you will need the O2 Priority app downloaded to redeem the offer. We’ll send you an SMS within a few days linking you to your unique registration code in O2 Priority. Tap ‘Copy and go to site’ and enter your details to subscribe to Apple Music

What is an Apple ID and why do I need one for Apple Music?
Your Apple ID is the personal account you use to access Apple services like the App Store, iCloud, Messages, Facetime, and more, using the same login credentials. It includes the information you use to sign in, as well as the contact, payment, and security details that you will use across Apple services. Your Apple ID allows you to use Apple Music across all your devices.
How do I create an Apple ID?
Visit applied.apple.com and select ‘Create your Apple ID’. Android users can create an Apple ID in the Apple Music app as part of the sign-up process. If you are creating an Apple ID for the first time when you activate your subscription, your Apple ID will be your phone number. You can use this to sign into Apple Services on all your devices and online.
How many devices can I connect to? And can I listen on more than one, at the same time?
You can have ten devices associated with your Apple ID for purchases at one time, but no more than five computers. You can only listen to music on one device at a time on an individual or Student Plan. With a Family Plan, up to six people can enjoy unlimited access to Apple Music on their devices at the same time.
How much music can I download?
You can download as much music as your device storage allows. Apple Music allows you to play and download anything to your personal music library; then listen anywhere, offline, and data-free.
Can I transfer my playlists from other steaming services such as Spotify?
Yes. You can transfer all your playlists to Apple Music using several apps available on the App Store, including Houdini and FreeYouMusic.
Does Apple Music work with Siri?
Yes. Apple Music and Siri let you control the music you love with just your voice.
Does Apple Music work with Amazon Alexa?
Yes. If you’re an Apple Music subscriber, you can ask Alexa to play songs, artists, playlists and more from Apple Music, or playlists from your library.
Can I use Apple Music on Android?
Yes. Visit the Google Play store to download Apple Music for your Android device.
Is Apple Music for Android compatible with Chromecast?
Yes. You need Apple Music for Android to cast from Apple Music to your Chromecast device.
Can I use Apple Music with Android Auto?
Yes. With Android Auto, you can listen to Apple Music in your car and control what is playing from your car’s display panel. Just download Android Auto from the Google Play store and connect your Android device (running the latest version of Apple Music) to your car.
Will Apple Music work on a Chromebook?
Yes. Chromebooks that support Android apps are compatible with Apple Music for Android. Simply download the latest version of Apple Music from the Google Play store, to start enjoying Apple Music on your Chromebook.
How do I cancel Apple Music?
To cancel your Apple Music subscription, follow these steps:
- Open the Apple Music app and tap ‘For You’.
- Tap the profile icon or your photo in the upper right corner.
- Scroll to the bottom of your profile page and tap ‘View Account’. If you have not set up an Apple Music Profile, skip to the next step.
- Tap ‘View Apple ID’. You may be asked to authenticate your Apple ID.
- Scroll to subscriptions and tap, then tap ‘Apple Music’. If you do not have any other subscriptions, you will go straight to Apple Music.
- Tap ‘Cancel Subscription’, then tap ‘Confirm’. After you cancel, your subscription will stop at the end of the current billing cycle.

How do I pay for Apple Music?
You are required to add a valid payment method before you can try Apple Music. When you begin the sign-up process, you will be prompted to add this if one is not already stored.
