To use 4G and 5G Calling, make sure you have an R15 SIM and you're using a compatible device – the settings will then be automatically enabled

To use 4G Calling, make sure you have an O2 SIM and any 4G /5G device. Once these requirements are met, the settings will be enabled automatically.
For WiFi Calling, if you have a 4G or 5G handset and a good WiFi connection, it should also be enabled automatically. If you experience any issues, you can use the device help guides to find more information on how to set up and use WiFi Calling on your phone.
Using either WiFi, 4G or 5G+ to stay connected costs the same as a standard call or text*, this means it'll come out of your tariff allowances in the normal way. If you run out, you’ll be charged at the standard tariff rate.
You can use it wherever there's a WiFi connection, including anywhere O2 WiFi is available.
Yes, 4G and 5G Calling are available abroad in selected locations. WiFi Calling isn’t currently supported outside of the UK.
5G Calling is currently available for O2 Pay Monthly customers with an R15 SIM and a compatible device* on latest software. If you’re in a supported area, your device will automatically connect to 5G Calling.
