All AirPods provide exceptional sound. However, if you're looking to get completely uninterrupted audio, AirPods Pro 3, Pro 2, AirPods Max, AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation, AirPods 5 and AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case have incredible Active Noise cancelling alongside Transparency mode.
Active Noise Cancelling uses two microphones to detect external sound, which AirPods then counter with noise cancelling capabilities.
Transparency mode means you can let sound in when you want to. Need to hear the latest train announcement? Transparency mode lets you hear what's going on around you.
All AirPods except AirPods Max are water and sweat resistant, not waterproof.
This means they can be used in the gym or on a walk outdoors but aren't advised for swimming or in intense rain.
If your AirPods do happen to get wet, make sure you wipe them down before placing them back in the case.

Yes, you can. Since they're considered Bluetooth earphones, AirPods can be used with Android devices. However, not all features will work the same as when connected to an Apple device.
It's never been easier to connect your AirPods to your iPhone.
Open up settings on your device and ensure you have Bluetooth turned on. Then, simply open your AirPods case next to your device and follow the instructions on screen. And you're good to go.
Just pop them back in the wireless charging case. To charge the case, use a Lightning or USB-C (AirPods 5, AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case, AirPods Pro 3, AirPods Pro 2nd Generation, AirPods 4th Generation and AirPods Max USB-C use USB-C) to USB compatible charging port and plug into a power socket.
Charging AirPods Max 1 is slightly different. Use a Lightning cable and plug into the bottom right earphone, and plug into a USB port or charging socket.
Make sure Bluetooth on the device is switched on. Then, open your AirPods case and hold down the setup button on the back. A light on the case should flash white, and the AirPods will appear within the Bluetooth list on your Mac.
