How to keep your mobile number
Whether you're already on O2, or switching from another network, it's easy to keep your mobile number using our keep my number form.
Switching from another network to O2
Before we can switch your number over, we need your PAC. You can get this by calling your current provider. Let us know your PAC when you place your order, or give us a call.
Once you've done this and ordered your new phone, fill out the keep my number form.
You'll need the number you want to keep, as well as the temporary number of your new O2 sim - this will be in your confirmation email or sim pack.
Switching from O2 Pay & Go to O2 Pay Monthly
Just fill out the keep my number form. We'll transfer your number within 24 hours.
You'll need the number you want to keep, as well as the temporary number of your new sim - this will be in your confirmation email or sim pack.
Your balance (up to £350) will be transferred when you receive your second bill. If you're entitled to a loyalty bonus (up to £550) we'll credit it to your fourth bill.
We'll text you on the day your number is transferred over. Just put your new sim in your phone and you’ll be good to go. If you don’t have signal right away, switch it off and on every couple of hours until you get an O2 signal. If this doesn't work, get in touch and we'll sort it out for you.
Your existing contract should never be cancelled before your number is transferred. If this happens, get in touch with your current network provider straight away.
If you change your mind about transferring your number, contact us and we'll be happy to help.
