O2 Travel for Business

  1. O2 Travel is available to Business Pay Monthly customers and can be used on most business tariffs including Mobile Extension, Best for Business, Business Essentials, Mobile Broadband, and Data Only tariffs.
  2. In order to benefit from O2 Travel you must have chosen to ‘opt in’.
  3. If you opt in, O2 Travel may take up to 12 hours to be applied to your account. If you choose not to ‘opt in’ to O2 Travel, you will be charged our standard roaming rates.   4. O2 Travel is available in selected destinations and may be subject to change from time to time. Details of these are available at [http://www.o2.co.uk/business/products/international-business/going-abroad/o2-travel]
  5. A daily charge of £1.66 will be applied automatically on the days that you use data, make calls or send texts in selected destinations. This single daily charge is subject to a fair usage policy of 120 outbound texts per day and 120 outbound minutes per day within Europe and back to the UK only (the “FUP”). You will be sent a text message notifying you if you have exceeded the FUP. If you fail to adhere to the FUP on more than one occasion in a 12 month rolling period O2 will automatically transfer you to standard EU roaming rates
  6. The following activities will trigger a daily charge of £1.66:
  7. A call made to another fixed or mobile number registered in a country within a European zone or back to the UK
  8. A text to anywhere in the world; and
  9. Using more than 50kbps of data
  10. The following activity will not trigger a daily charge of £1.66
  11. A call made to a fixed or mobile number registered in a country outside of the European zone or the UK.  These will be charged at O2’s published rate for calling that zone.  Further details of these rates can be found at [http://www.o2.co.uk/business/products/international-business/going-abroad]
  12. Your standard terms and conditions of service (including your tariff terms and your airtime agreement) will continue to apply when using O2 Travel.
  13. There is no fixed data allowance with O2 Travel, but we'll slow down the service if you reach an assumed fair usage amount in order to manage traffic on the network. This will be more than 50MB of data (the "Assumed Fair Usage Amount") in a day. Audio and video streaming are available with O2 Travel but the quality of the audio/video will be optimised for a mobile device. The speed available for file transfer, online gaming, peer to peer downloads and network back-up services is restricted and may not work with O2 Travel.   14. Within the selected destinations, regardless of the country you’re in, your daily data charge will apply from 00.00 to 23.59 UK time. Whilst you're travelling you'll need to check the time in the UK to understand when your daily charge expires.
  15. O2 Travel provides you with daily data to use in the country you're in. If you travel to another country in the selected destinations in the same UK day you'll continue to use the same allocation of daily data for that 24 hour period for that next country.
  16. Any unused Assumed Fair Usage Amount will not carry over to the following day.
  17. We may vary or amend these terms, but if it's to your significant disadvantage we'll notify you.
  18. We may remove or discontinue O2 Travel at any time.
  19. We reserve the right to terminate your use of O2 Travel, if you are, in our reasonable opinion, in breach of your terms of service.
  20. All charges exclude VAT.
