With Voicemail 901 you'll never miss a call again.

Getting started

Voicemail answers any calls you miss and lets you know when you have new messages.

 

It’s available to all O2 customers and is ready to go on all new O2 phones. If it’s switched off, you can turn it on by dialing 1750 free from your mobile.


Personalise your greeting

Your Voicemail is automatically set up with a default message that greets your callers. You can record your own version of this greeting by:

  • Dialling 901
  • Keying * for greetings and mailbox settings and then 3
  • Following the prompts

 

Want to change what you’ve recorded? It’s easy. Just follow the prompts.


Choose how you’re told about new messages

There are three ways we can let you know when you have a new message:

  • Text message
  • Phone call
  • The on-screen Voicemail symbol (Voicemail symbol)

 

You can choose the method that suits you best and change it at any time by:

  • Dialling 901
  • Keying * for greetings and mailbox settings and then 4
  • Following the prompts


Check your messages

You can listen to your messages any time by dialing 901 from your mobile. You should also be able to speed-dial Voicemail by pressing and holding 1.

 

While you’re listening to a message you can:

 

Key 0 to pause or continue

Key 4 to skip back 5 seconds

Key 6 to skip forward 5 seconds

 

And you can do any of the following during or after you’ve heard a message:

 

Key 1 to replay the message

Key 2 to save it

Key 3 to delete it

Key 5 to return the call

Key 7 to forward or reply (post-pay only)

Key 8 to hear who called you and when

Key 9 to reply by text (post-pay only)

 


How much does it cost?

If you’re a Pay & Go customer, calls to 901 are charged at 15p per call if you are on Talkalot rates (from Feb 08) otherwise they are charged at 10p per call.
 
If you’re a Pay Monthly customer, calls to 901 are free of charge.

Dial 1760 from your mobile free.
