You can now go contactless with our O2 Money Account Card so to pay for your lunch with a single tap. Pick up a drink, or buy lime-scented shower stuff. Up to the value of £20 at your favourite high-street places
NFC on your phone is still a work in progress for O2 Wallet . It's part of the plan. So it won't be long before you'll be able to use your mobile to pay anywhere that has a contactless payment reader.
How it works (the techy bit)
NFC is a short-range wireless technology. It uses a magnetic field that creates enough voltage to power a tiny microchip on a reader you tap on. And that makes something happen. Like instant payment for your lunch time sandwich.

- Three strikes and you’re out. Get the PIN or password wrong three times and we'll lock your O2 Wallet.
- We give your cash a bodyguard. If we notice anything unusual happening, we'll lock your O2 Wallet.
