  • *Only customers buying an O2 (UK) handset & tariff can purchase insurance through the online shop. **Free for O2 Insure Premier, a £30 to £50 courier charge applies when replacing a handset abroad that is insured under a Complete Cover policy. This is strictly subject to terms, conditions and exclusions.
  • Unauthorised calls – Please note, in certain circumstances and in relation to approved theft claims only, O2 will reimburse the cost of unauthorised calls up to the value of £3000 for O2 Insure Premier and £1000 for O2 Insure Standard customers. See the current version of the O2 airtime contract for details.

Insurance can only be purchased within 14 days of buying a new handset or upgrading through O2 UK (inclusive of free upgrades).   The 14 day period is extended to 28 days for Online customers only. Insurance can either be purchased at point of sale or:

  1. Postpay customers - by calling your normal O2 Customer Service contact number which is shown on your airtime bill or by contacting O2 Customer Services on 08702 410202.

  2. Prepay customers - by contacting O2 Customer Services on 2427..
