Our policies extend worldwide, so whether you’re at home or working abroad, you’re covered. And we cover up to £300 for any accessories you bought from O2 that were damaged at the same time as your device.

Next day exchange/replacement service

If you damage your phone you can choose our fast-fix exchange service to get a replacement the next day. Or save money with our return option. You’ll pay a lower excess charge, and we’ll repair or replace your phone in 3-5 days.

Damage Cover

This covers life’s little accidents. Like dropping your phone on the pavement. So you’ll be covered against accidental damage, including water damage or a smashed screen.

Full Cover - theft, loss or accidental damage

Dropping your phone. Leaving it in a taxi. Losing it in a hotel. We cover all that. Damaged your phone? Choose our fast-fix exchange service to get a replacement the next day. Or save money with our return option. You’ll pay a lower excess charge, and we’ll repair or replace your phone in 3-5 days.

What does it cost?

Our Full Cover policy covers your mobile phone against theft, loss or accidental damage. The monthly cost depends on the replacement cost of your mobile.

 *Next-day exchange or replacement applies to valid claims submitted before 7pm on a weekday. Excludes Sundays and public holidays. Not available in Northern Ireland or selected postcodes in Scotland, Highlands, Guernsey, Isle of Man, and Scilly Isles.

For full details of what you are covered for and any exclusions that may apply please read the terms and conditions of your O2 insure policy. Replacement devices may be from refurbished stock that has been tested and is fully functional.  You can cancel within 14 days of receiving your policy documents and will not be charged provided you have not made a claim.   • When you buy or upgrade to a new mobile, you've got 28 days to get O2 Insure.
  • You have to be with O2 and over 18 to get one of our insurance policies.

Can I get an itemised bill?

Itemised bills are available online on MyO2.

If you would like a paper bill, we can send a summary for £2.50 if there are 1-9 connections on the account, or £10.00 if there are 10+ connections. Itemised paper billing is available for £1 a month, per connection.
