Helping everyone get more from the digital revolution
Leeds Libraries worked with O2 to develop a tablet lending scheme that promotes digital inclusion.
Driving digital inclusion with state-of-the-art tablet lending scheme
As part of Leeds City Council’s 100% Digital Leeds agenda, Leeds Libraries’ aim was to support digital inclusion for as many members of the community as possible, including those who have historically lacked internet access.
Understanding the community’s needs
We worked closely with Leeds Libraries to identify what the community wanted and how to best meet their needs. Then we designed a solution to manage everything from the supply of devices to the accessibility and security of every user’s experience.
A more personal approach
“The best thing about working with O2 is that it doesn’t feel like we’ve been working with an organisation. It feels like we’ve been working with people.”
Jason Tutin, Digital and Learning Development Manager, Leeds Libraries
