Perplexity Pro
The mandatory requirement to provide payment information applies to all Perplexity Pro users, not just those who have subscribed via Priority. Priority members can find more information about the change in the communications Perplexity have sent them.

Yes you can, however Priority members who have redeemed a Perplexity Pro reward via Priority from O2 will need to provide a payment method on file, such as debit or credit card, to continue using their subscription.
This change has been implemented by Perplexity and will be communicated directly by them.

Priority members will still be able to enjoy their free 12-month trial and will not be charged for Perplexity Pro until their trial ends. To prevent being charged, you must cancel your Perplexity Pro subscription before the autorenewal.
Perplexity have implemented a change to their billing requirements.
From Thursday 5 March 2026, as a Perplexity Pro user, you will be required to add a payment method to your account to continue to benefit from your free trial of Perplexity Pro. If you do not wish to add a payment method on file, you will be automatically downgraded to the free tier of Perplexity and can continue to use your account. Your data will not be lost.
