Double Data & Half Price Next Day Replacement Cover Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern this Offer which you must accept to participate. Please read the following Terms carefully and keep a copy for your information.

Double Data

1.          Eligible Customers who make a Qualifying Purchase (a “Participant”) get the standard data allowance in their Qualifying Purchase, doubled (e.g. 120GB for the price of 60GB, 72GB for the price of 36GB and 36GB for the price of 18GB) (“Double Data”).

2.          Double Data will be applied automatically when making a Qualifying Purchase and will continue until the Qualifying Purchase tariff is superseded, switched to an ineligible tariff, changed, cancelled, withdrawn or expires, whatever happens first.

3.          One Offer per Qualifying Purchase only.  Offer is not transferable. No cash or other alternatives.

Insurance

4.          Eligible Customers who make a Qualifying Purchase (a “Participant”) get O2 Insure – Damage Cover  reduced from £9 to £4.50 or £7.50 to £3.75 (“Half Price Next Day Replacement Cover”) until they cancel, upgrade, or change tariffs, whichever is earlier. Prices vary depending on the device

5.          For iPhone 11 (64GB/128GB), customers can opt for a next day replacement at time of claim for a £70 excess, or a 3-5 day service for a standard Excess of £40 or for iPhone 11 (256GB)/iPhone Pro/Pro Max customers can opt for a next day replacement at time of claim for £90 Excess, or a 3-5 day service for a standard Excess of £60.

6.          The next day exchange applied to valid claims submitted before 7pm on a weekday. Excludes Sundays and public holidays. Not available in Northern Ireland or specific postcodes in Scotland, Highlands, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Scilly Isles. 7.          Replacement devices may be from refurbished stock that has been tested and is fully functional.

8.          You can cancel within 14 days of receiving your policy documents and will not be charged provided you have not made a claim. After this period you may cancel by giving 30 days’ notice.  

9.          You are covered for up to £300 for any accessories brought from O2 damaged at the same time as your phone.

10.       O2 Insure is underwritten by Telefonica Insurance S.A. UK Branch

Eligibility & Participation

11.       This Offer is open to Business Essential and Small Business tariff customers (new or re-signing), (“Eligible Customers”) who make a Qualifying Purchase.

12.       A “Qualifying Purchase” is a purchase of iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro or iPhone 11 Pro Max, made directly from O2 (stores including franchise stores, through our O2 Telesales, or through 02business.co.uk), from 13th September until the offer ends (“Offer Period”), with either a 18GB, 36GB or 60GB tariff.

13.        Qualifying Purchases are subject to their own eligibility criteria, status and credit checks and O2’s general terms for business customers which can be found here: http//static.o2.co.uk/www/docs/termsandconditions/general-terms-for-business.  

14.        Eligible Devices that are purchased and returned within the Change-Your-Mind period, or purchased through a third party distributor are excluded and will not qualify for this Offer. Participants who disconnect from the Qualifying Purchase tariff and reconnect (for whatever reason) will not qualify for this Offer.

15.        Participants who fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this Offer will be disqualified and Double Data will be removed.

Other important terms

16.        Participants should retain a copy of their receipt as proof of purchase.

17.        O2 reserves the right to remove promotional material from circulation, amend these Terms or withdraw the Offer at any point during the Offer Period. In the case of amendment or withdrawal a notice will be posted at the top of these Terms.  In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Double Data for an alternative of equal or greater value. In the event of any dispute the decision of the Promoter is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

18.        O2 will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Offer or accepting or using the Double Data, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

19.        O2’s decision is final with regard to all Offer matters.

20.        By participating in the Offer, all Participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms. These Terms prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Participation and Claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms.

21.       Data Protection: By participating in the Offer, Participants consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller and the use of their personal data for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and any other purposes to which the Participant has consented.  Your personal details will at all times be kept in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be found here:  http://www.o2.co.uk/termsandconditions/privacy-policy.

22.        These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
