This promotion offers you the opportunity to get one (1) JBL Flip 4 speaker (“Free Gift”) when you buy a Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8+ directly from O2 (the “Offer”). The Offer is being promoted by Telefónica UK Limited having its registered office at 260 Bath Road, Slough SL1 4DX ("O2"). Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. These terms and conditions govern the Promotion.
- Eligible Customers who make a Qualifying Purchase (a “Participant”) can claim one JBL Flip 4 Speaker (“Free Gift”), subject to acceptance of any additional terms or eligibility criteria, as applicable to the Free Gift.
- One Free Gift per Qualifying Purchase only.
- Free Gifts are subject to availability at the point of redemption and whilst stocks last. O2 provides no guarantee that all Free Gifts will remain available throughout the Offer Period. O2 reserves the right to amend the terms of this promotion at any time ,which may include but is not limited to, withdrawing the Offer or the substitution of the Free Gift for a suitable alternative.
- Once a Participant has selected the Free Gift this selection cannot be altered.
Eligibility & Participation
- This Offer is open to new and upgrading Consumer or Business customers (“Eligible Customers”).
- To participate, Eligible Customers must make a Qualifying Purchase. A “Qualifying Purchase is either:
i. the valid pre-order of an Eligible Device directly from O2 stores (including franchise stores), online at o2.co.uk or through our O2 Telesales from and including 29 March 2017 to and including 27 April 2017. To complete a valid pre-order Eligible Customers must complete a full sales transaction for the Eligible Device; or
ii. the purchase of an Eligible Device directly from O2 stores (including franchise stores), online at o2.co.uk or through our O2 Telesales from and including 28 April to and including 24 May 2017. The Offer will be available through both the pre-order and live order period from and including 29 March 2017 to and including 24 May 2017 (the “Offer Period”)
- An “Eligible Device” means a Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8+, when:
i. it is bought on a consumer contract, on O2 Refresh with a 24-month credit agreement (Device Plan) and Airtime Plan with a standard data tariff of 3GB or more; or
ii. it is bought on a business contract, on a Small Business or Business Essentials tariff with a 24-month minimum term and a standard data tariff of 3GB or more.
Eligible Devices that are purchased and returned within the Change-Your-Mind period do not qualify for this Offer. Eligible Devices purchased through a third party distributor are excluded and do not qualify for this Offer.
How to claim
- Participants can claim their Free Gift from and including the date on which they receive their Eligible Device, to and including the 25 June 2017.
- To claim the Free Gift, Participants must follow instructions provided on the voucher leaflet enclosed with their Qualifying Purchase, go to http://www.o2-gifts.co.uk (the “Redemption Site”) and enter the unique code printed on the voucher leaflet and the IMEI device code.
- Valid claims of Free Gifts will be dispatched within 24hrs following verification and validation of eligibility.
Other important terms
- Where a Participant wishes to cancel their Qualifying Purchase, (including O2 Refresh Device Plan, Small Business or Business Essentials contract and associated Airtime Plan if applicable) within the 14 day Change-Your-Mind period then they are no longer eligible to participate in this Offer. Participants must return the “Free Gift” voucher, with the code panel unscratched and undamaged, when they return their Eligible Device. If Participants have already received their Free Gift, they must return the Free Gift with the Eligible Device.
- No applications from organised groups, third parties, or agents, will be allowed. Incomplete applications or applications that are not in accordance with the application instructions will be rejected.
- We will aim to send your Free Gift within the time period stipulated on the dispatch note provided to you at time of application.
- Entitlement to the Free Gift is personal to the Participant and cannot be transferred, unless otherwise permitted by the Promoter Redemption Partner of the Free Gift. The voucher for the Free Gift has no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Responsibility is not accepted for applications damaged, lost, or delayed as a result of any computer hardware, network or software failure of any kind. Damaged to or loss of voucher may result in the Eligible Customer being unable to claim the Free Gift.
- Applicants should retain a copy of their receipt as proof of purchase.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Free Gift for an alternative of equal or greater value. In the event of any dispute the decision of the Promoter is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
- By participating in the promotion, all applicants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. All application instructions printed on the voucher.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
