UPDATE: These terms were updated pursuant to paragraph 5 of these terms, on 31 May 2017 to reflect extended Offer Period.

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. These terms and conditions govern the Offer.

  1. Eligibility: The Offer is only available to any existing O2 Home account holders over the age of 18 who have signed up to any O2 Home pack (“Eligible Customers”)
  2. Offer Period: From 20 December 2016 to 31 July 2017.
  3. How to participate: Eligible Customers can participate in the Offer by purchasing during the Offer Period (or before the Offer otherwise comes to an end) a new Dial Direct Home Insurance Policy directly from Dial Direct using telephone number 0330 0185 374 (“Qualifying Contract”) in their own name and using the same email address used to register and sign up for O2 Home (“Participants”). For the avoidance of doubt Dial Direct Home Insurance policies purchased via indirect channels or using a quote reference obtained from a comparison website or the Dial Direct website are not Qualifying Contracts and purchasers will not be eligible to participate in this Offer.
    Customers who are renewing an existing Dial Direct Home Insurance policy, amending the details of their current Dial Direct Home Insurance policy or who have held a Dial Direct Home Insurance policy within 14 days prior to the start date of their new Dial Direct Home Insurance policy purchased during the Offer Period are not eligible and cannot participate in this Offer.
    Customers whose applications or orders for O2 Home or the Qualifying Contract are not successful or whose orders are not accepted within the Offer Period (or before the Offer is withdrawn) are not eligible and cannot participate.
    Participation to this Offer is subject to underwriting criteria related to the Dial Direct Home.
  4. Offer Contents: Participants will receive from O2 two months of their O2 Home Monthly Subscription Fees (as defined in the O2 Home Services Agreement) for free (“Offer Redemption”). Unless a Disqualifying Event occurs and provided that 51 days after having entered the Qualifying Contract both the Qualifying Contract and the O2 Home Services Agreement have not been cancelled or terminated, the Offer Redemption will be applied to the Participant’s O2 Home account over two months starting 55 days following purchase of the Qualifying Contract (“Free Period”). The Offer does not apply to any additional charges, services or equipment for which the Participant may be billed over and above the Monthly Subscription Fee. Standard Monthly Subscription Fees will apply automatically after the Free Period has ended.
  5. Amending or withdrawing the offer: O2 reserves the right to withdraw or amend this Offer at any time on reasonable notice. If we withdraw this offer we will include an update confirming this at the top of these terms and conditions and posted on o2.co.uk.
  6. Disqualifying Events: A Participant will cease to qualify for this Offer, and any Monthly Subscription Fees that may have been waived under this Offer will be charged by O2 to the Participant, if:
       a. The Participant does not comply with the terms of his O2 Home Services Agreement, the instructions for using O2 Home equipment or the Terms and Conditions of this Offer;
       b. The Participant terminates his O2 Home Services Agreement or has his O2 Home Services Agreement terminated for any reason before the end of the Free Period;
       c. The Participant disconnect his O2 Home service and reconnect (for whatever reason) at a later date.
  7. Personal Data: Participant’s data will be shared with Dial Direct, their agents or assigns, for the purpose of verifying and confirming Participant’s qualification and take up of this Offer.
    By choosing to participate in this Offer, by calling telephone number 0330 0185 374 and by purchasing the Dial Direct Home Insurance policy, you consent to personal data you provide to BISL to be used and transferred by BISL to O2 and its subcontractors for the purpose of administering this Offer. Both O2 and BISL will be the data controllers in respect of your personal data, which will be processed by each data controller according to its data protection policy (please refer to www.dialdirect.co.uk/privacypolicy/ and www.o2.co.uk/termsandconditions/privacy-policy for further details) and the present terms and conditions.
  8. Non-transferable: The Offer can only be redeemed against the Participant’s O2 Home account and cannot be used to pay for or off-set any other fees, charges or costs nor any other O2 account balances. Promotional credit cannot be transferred. There are no cash alternatives.
  9. O2 Home and Dial Direct Insurance Policy Terms apply: The Terms and Conditions of this Offer apply in addition to your O2 Home Services Agreement and the Terms and Conditions of your Dial Direct Insurance Policy which will be made available by Dial Direct.
  10. This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer without the express consent of the Promoter.
  11. If any provision of the Terms and Conditions of this Offer is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
  12. The Offer Terms and Conditions are governed by English Law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  13. The promoter of this Offer is O2, a trading name of Telefónica UK Limited, registered office 260 Bath Road, Slough, Berkshire, SL1 4DX (“O2”) who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
  14. Dial Direct Home Insurance policies are arranged and administered by BISL Limited, a company authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and having its registered office at Pegasus House, Bakewell Road, Orton Southgate, Peterborough.
