Please note that your bill may include charges for re-sent data packets and packets added to control the flow of data over the network.

III. The prices shown do not incorporate data roaming rates.

5. Data Allowance Terms

I.  Adding a Data Allowance allows you to use our data network, and if applicable, UK Wi-Fi, via your mobile phone (internet capable and/or Wi-Fi accredited phones only). The Data Allowance includes a specified monthly data allowance.

II. The Tariffs are available in either capped or uncapped data variants.
If you choose a capped version and exceed your monthly Data Allowance we will impose network protection controls which may reduce your speed.

III. If you choose an uncapped version, we will impose out of bundle data charges of 2.5p per MB on any additional data you use.

IV. There are restrictions around how you can use your SIM card. See section 8 for details.

V. If your mobile phone supports internet-tethering then this will be included in your data Bolt On and internet-tethering usage will be part of your monthly data allowance.

VI. We reserve the right to use appropriate traffic-shaping, charges or throttling measures to protect our network from types of data usage which we think might impact on levels of service for customers at specific times of day and/or in specific locations.

6. Big Business Just Data

These tariffs are Data Only and cannot be used for voice calls. They are available for individual users only in variants between 1GB and 20GB both capped and uncapped.

Uncapped variants are subject to the following terms:

  • Data usage outside of the data bundle/bolt on allowance of your chosen tariff will be charged at 2.5p per MB.
  • Data usage is measured in megabytes (MB). 1MB = 1024 Kilobytes (KB), 1024 MB = 1 Gigabyte (GB).
  • Data usage outside the data bundle/bolt on is rounded to the nearest kilobyte on a daily basis and charges are rounded up to the nearest 1p.
  • These terms are supplementary to the terms of your chosen business tariff.

Capped variants
If you choose a capped version and you exceed your monthly Data Allowance, we will impose network protection controls which may reduce your speed.

7. Shared Data

All the Tariffs are available with Shared Data. The shared data is available between 5GB and 9TB.
The data can be shared between 2 and 20,000 users.
The monthly cost of the shared data allowance will be allocated to one nominated SIM card.
Each additional SIM card sharing that data will pay a monthly access fee of £2.00 in addition to the monthly cost.
The data will be used on a first come, first serve basis by all users sharing the allowance.
The tariffs are available in either capped or uncapped data variants.
You will lose any inclusive data allowance previously included as part of your O2 voice tariff if you add on, or change a data tariff.
Any unused data will not roll over.

8. Shared Roamed Data Bolt On

This Bolt-On is available upon application to O2.  Prices vary based on the number of users and the data requirements of each user. Each user connected to and using the Bolt-On will be charged a monthly subscription fee.  The Bolt-On must remain connected for the same Minimum Term as the customer’s Business Agreement. If you terminate the Bolt-On within the Minimum Term, termination charges will apply.

The Bolt-On allows you to have a bundle of shared data between 5Gb and 9Tb with up to 20,000 sharers which can be used when roaming outside the UK.

The data bundle can be shared between multiple users under a single agreement. The actual monthly usage of all users is aggregated every month and compared against the total bundle size.

If you exceed the call bundle size for 3 consecutive months, O2 reserves the right to increase the charges on your next monthly bill to reflect your actual usage EG: if usage exceeds the call bundle by 10%, the monthly subscription fee will increase by 10%. If your usage returns to the original agreed call bundle for a consecutive period of 3 months, the associated charges will revert to the original monthly subscription fee from your next monthly bill.

Shared roamed data cannot be used in conjunction with any other data roaming products.
Unless stated otherwise, data usage overage is charged at 14.5p/MB in EU and £6/ MB in the rest of the world.

You will be billed for the amount of data that travels over the data network. Please note that your bill may include charges for re-sent data packets and packets added to control the flow of data over the network.
O2 reserves the right to withdraw the Bolt-On at any time upon 30 day notice.
