  • How do I get a triple bundle?

    Choose a £10, £20 or £30 Big Bundle and get triple the minutes, data and texts on your first month’s top up. Ends 2 January.


    Offer ends 2 January 2019. Triple the usual monthly allowance of data, minutes and texts on our £10, £20 and £30 data Big Bundles only. Triple data excluded from data rollover. Offer will be applied automatically for first-time customers. Existing customers with an eligible Big Bundle must text “TRIPLE” to 2424 from their O2 Pay As You Go phone to activate the offer. Your Big Bundle tariff value, is the minimum monthly credit balance / top up required to activate and renew a bundled allowance of European Zone data allowance and allowance of minutes and texts in the UK which you can also use whilst roaming in our Europe Zone, subject to Fair Usage policy. Bundles expire after one calendar month and cannot be rolled over unless your tariff explicitly includes it. Data rollover: is available on £10, £15, £20, £25 and £30 data Big Bundles only. On your monthly renewal data you can carry forward up to 100% of your standard monthly data allowance (“Roll Over Data”) into the following month’s data bundle, subject to your total data bundle (Roll Over Data + standard monthly allowance) not exceeding 200% of your standard monthly data allowance at any one time. Any data that cannot be rolled over will expire. Roll Over Data will expire immediately if you fail to renew your Big Bundle on time or if you change tariffs.   • What’s the difference between Big Bundles and Classic Pay As You Go?

    With Big Bundles you need to top up each month, and we exchange the credit for your chosen bundle of data, texts and minutes.

    With Classic Pay As You Go you top up a minimum of £10 and pay for the minutes, texts and data you use. Calls are 3p a minute, texts are 2p, and data is 1p a MB. Once your credit runs out, just top up again.

  • What happens if I don’t use my phone for long periods?

    If you don't carry out a chargeable activity at least once in any six month period your phone will be disconnected and you’ll lose any credit on your account. If you want to be reconnected you’ll be given a new number.

  • Can I keep my number?

    Yes. If you’re moving from another network, before you can transfer, we’ll need your PAC. Once you’ve ordered and received your temporary O2 number, fill in the keep my number form. Find out more about keeping your number.

    If you’re moving from O2 Pay Monthly to Pay As You Go, Get in touch with our Pay Monthly customer service team. We'll do the rest. If you're on O2 Refresh you can only move to Pay As You Go once your Device Plan is paid. If you're not on O2 Refresh but still in your contract minimum term, you may need to pay a termination charge.

  • How can I top up?

    You can top up online, or you can:

    • call 4444 from your mobile
    • go to any UK cash machine with the green top-up logo
    • use an E-Top Up card
    • buy a voucher anywhere you see the green top-up logo.
  • Can I change tariff?

    Yes. Sign in to My O2 or call 2202 to switch to a new tariff - you can do this once a month if you want to.

  • I ordered a sim but it hasn't arrived, what can I do?

    If you ordered your free sim by 12pm, you'll get it the next working day (subject to location and Royal Mail delays). However please allow three working days for your sim to arrive. If it still hasn't arrived, you can chat to one of our agents.

  • How does data rollover work?

    If you are on a data Big Bundle tariff that includes our data rollover then if your data Big Bundle automatically renews, any data you don't use one month will roll over to your next months data Big Bundle, subject to a cap which is double your usual data allowance. This will be available for you to use during the next month. Unused data allowances will only roll over from one bundle to the next if your data Big Bundle renews on the same day your previous data Big Bundle expires. If you change the type of Data Big Bundle you are opted into or your data Big Bundle does not automatically renew, for example, if you do not have enough credit, your unused allowances will not roll over and will expire.
