O2 Travel is our roaming service for customers travelling abroad - the perfect way to stay connected when you're on holiday. It lets you talk, send texts and use the internet while you're away, without worrying about overspending. If you're a Pay Monthly customer, you'll pay a single fixed daily rate to get the minutes, texts and data you need in selected destinations. If you're a Pay As You Go customer, it's all about the data. No catch. No scary bill to keep you awake at night.*
O2 Travel is a free bolt-on that you can add to your account. For just £1.99 a day in Europe, £3.99 a day in Turkey and £4.99 in selected destinations outside of Europe (see full list below) get all the data you need plus 120 minutes to make and receive calls and 120 texts.
For Europe, the daily charge covers calls and texts within European O2 Travel destinations and back to the UK. In Turkey and outside of Europe, the daily charge covers calls and texts within your chosen destination and back to the UK.
You'll only be charged on the days you use O2 Travel. The daily charge applies from midnight to midnight UK time, and will be triggered if you make calls, send texts or use data. It won't be triggered by receiving calls or texts. You can receive up to 120 minutes of calls a day without charge, even if you don't trigger O2 Travel. If you do trigger O2 Travel, these received calls will come out of your 120 minute allowance. After you've used up your 120 minute allowance, any calls you make or receive will be charged at the standard roaming rates for your selected destination.
There's no upper usage limit on data, but data speeds might vary. Sending a media message will cost the same as your UK tariff.
O2 Travel provides a separate allowance of data, minutes and texts while you're away and won't affect your standard UK tariff allowances. Voicemail (901) is included in the cost.

Text O2TRAVEL to 23336 to activate or add the bolt-on to your account in My O2. It can take up to 24hrs to be applied to your account.

£3.99 a day: Turkey
£4.99 a day: USA, UAE, Australia, South Africa, Thailand, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Japan, Cape Verde, China, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Albania, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Panama, Uruguay, Venezuela, Botswana, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Antigua and Barbuda, Honduras, El Salvador.
With O2 Travel Pay As You Go, you'll get 100MB of data in Europe for £1.99 a day. Calls back to the UK and within Europe cost 4p a minute. It's free to receive calls. Texts sent to the UK and Europe cost 1p, but are free to receive. And sending a media message will cost the same as your UK tariff.
All allowances end at midnight UK time. Any unused data won't be carried over to the following day.
