On a single charge, your AirPod Max headphones will last up to 20 hours.

 

Low battery mode is activated when the headphones are left down and stationary for over 5 minutes. If the Pods spend more than 72 hours out of the Smart Case, lower battery mode will be activated. This preserves battery even more by turning off capabilities such as Find My and Bluetooth.

 

Plus, when the battery for the headphones is running low, you'll receive a notification on your iPhone or iPad.
