Out of bundle picture message (MMS) charge change

From 1 April 2020, we’re making a change to the cost of sending a picture message (MMS) for Pay Monthly customers. This applies outside of any allowances you might have in your tariff or MMS Bolt On. This change is not applicable to Pay As You Go or O2 Business customers. The charge applies when sending a picture message (MMS):

from the UK to someone else in the UK;
from the UK to someone outside the UK; or
when you are travelling abroad to someone in any destination.

Sending a picture message (MMS) will now cost 65p instead of 55p.

International calling standard rates and text message (SMS) charges

Calling or texting from the UK to a non-UK landline or mobile in any country, even within our Europe Zone, is classed as an international call or text.

From 1 April 2020, as well as the cost of sending an MMS abroad or when travelling abroad changing to 65p as set out above, standard charges for international calls to some countries are also changing for Pay Monthly customers. This change is not applicable to Pay As You Go or O2 Business customers.

From 1 April 2020, calling landline or mobile numbers from the UK to non-UK landline and mobile numbers in the countries listed in the table below will cost £3 per minute. A minute minimum charge of £3 will apply.

Charges for sending a standard text message (SMS) to non-UK mobiles are also changing from 1 April 2020. Sending a text to all of the countries listed below, which includes countries listed in the table above, will now cost 65p.
