The Star Trader programme (the "Programme") is open to UK residents (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) aged 18 years or over ("Participants").
Under the Programme, Participants who choose to sign up will receive a minimum £5 reward for every new customer ("Customer") who tops up £10 or more for the first time on a Pay As You Go sim ordered through the Programme.
The right of Participants to receive payment is subject to their on-going compliance with these terms and conditions. The Promoter may, at its sole discretion, suspend or remove a Participant from the Programme at any time and without notice, and withhold, claim back , or seek reimbursement of, or payment from any Participant in any reasonable circumstances, including but not limited to the following:If the Participant has breached these or any other applicable terms and conditions;
a. If the Promoter suspects or has reasonable grounds to believe that the Participant has provided incorrect or misleading information to any Customer or to the Promoter;
b. If any Customer tops up sims provided by the Participant using a stolen, invalid or expired credit or debit card or the Promoter is required to refund a credit or debit card provider in respect of any sim top ups;
c. If the Promoter suspects the Participant is otherwise misusing or interfering in any way with the Programme or the O2 network;
d. If the Promoter receives a complaint about a Participant; or
e. If the Participant has otherwise engaged in conduct which may breach any law or regulation or be to the detriment of the Promoter's reputation.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any incorrectly completed, lost or delayed registration applications, notices, acceptances or other documents related to the Programme.
It is the responsibility of all Participants to keep their Star Trader Programme account log-in details secure. The Promoter will not be responsible for loss, damage or any other issues arising out of unauthorised access to any Participant's Star Trader Programme account.
Participants must keep the details provided in their Star Trader Programme account complete and accurate at all times. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of any Participant's identity at any time. If the Participant fails to respond to this request within the reasonable time period specified, the Promoter may close that Participant's Star Trader Programme account with immediate effect, whereupon the Participant will cease to have any rights under these terms and conditions.
Once signed up, Participants will be allocated a tier (Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum) and given a monthly sim allowance of at least 20 sims. The Promoter reserves the right to change a Participant's tier and sim allowance for any reason at any time on reasonable notice. For more details on tiers visit: support.o2startrader.co.uk
Depending on the Participants tier, they may also have access to the Automatic Ordering feature.
Ordered sims will be sent to Participants from the Promoter in a welcome pack, which should be passed on to friends, family and other potential Customers for activation. After placing an order, Participants should allow approximately 14 days for delivery of sims.
Participants must not put any pressure on potential Customers, nor send them unsolicited correspondence, regarding the activation or topping up of sims distributed by Participants under the Programme.
Only sims ordered through the Star Trader Programme website are capable of producing rewards for Participants.
Any and all undisputed and accrued rewards will be paid to Participants at the start of the month, following the month in which the reward was earned. They will be paid by electronic transfer from the bank account nominated by the Participant for this purpose.
Participants are responsible for complying with any additional terms and conditions imposed on them by their nominated bank account.
Participants are responsible for any tax liability incurred as a result of taking part in the Programme.
If a Participant fails to provide the Promoter with requested contact or bank account details, or provides incorrect details, or fails to keep details updated, the Participant may not receive payment as set out above. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for such occurrences. In particular, if a Participant fails to provide correct bank details within 90 days of any reward being earned, they shall forfeit any claim to that reward.
In the event that any Participant closes their Star Trader Programme account, they will immediately lose entitlement to any rewards accrued but not yet paid under the Programme.
The Promoter may amend, suspend, withdraw or terminate the Programme at any time and for any reason on at least 30 days' notice, which will be provided by email to Participants and/or on the Promoter's O2 website and/or on Star Trader account. Any rewards genuinely accrued before the date on which the Programme is amended, suspended, withdrawn or terminated as appropriate will be paid as provided by these terms.
All decisions by the Promoter on matters relating to the Programme are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
These terms and conditions should be read in conjunction with the Pay As You Go airtime terms and conditions at o2.co.uk/terms. Where there is conflict between the two sets of terms, the airtime terms shall take precedence.
The Programme is governed by English law. The Promoter is Telefónica UK Limited, 260 Bath Road, Slough, Berkshire, SL1 4DX ("O2").
