O2 World Chat: Free International Calls to Selected Countries Between 18th September - 31st December Promotion terms and conditions

1. Promotional Period:
a. Promotion opens 00:00 (GMT) 18th September 2015 (“Promotion Start Date”)
b. Promotion closes 23:59 (GMT) 31st December 2015 (“Promotion End Date”) together (“Promotional Period”)
2. Eligible Customers:
a. The Promotion is open to United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland), residents aged 16 years or over who have or download the O2 World Chat App (“App”) before or during the Promotional Period (“Eligible Customers”).
b. To get the App you need to download ‘O2 World Chat’ onto an eligible iOS or Android smartphone and register for the service using a valid UK mobile phone number. Using the App requires a mobile data connection and access to your service provider's mobile network which will be charged at standard rates.
c. Existing World Chat customers should download/update the latest version (v1.3.5 or higher) of the app.
3. Offer:
a. During the Promotional Period, Eligible Customers will benefit from free calls made using the App to selected international destinations (“Promotion Destinations) for periods of 24 hours (from 00:01am to 23:59pm GMT).
b. You can check when calls to the Promotion Destinations are free by checking the Call Rates and contact details screens in the App. Or, if you have not opted out of receiving marketing from O2 we will notify you by SMS during the Promotional Period when calls to the Promotion Destinations will be free.
c. Calls to the Promotion Destinations indicated as 'Free' will not use up your free five minutes as allocated to all new O2 World Chat users. Calls to Promotion Destinations not indicated as 'Free' will use up your five minute allowance and any credit you may have added to your balance in the app.
4. Other Promotional terms
a. In the event of fraud, abuse, and/or an error affecting the proper operation of this promotion, or where circumstances make this unavoidable, O2 reserves the right to end, amend, cancel or suspend the promotion; and/or amend these terms & conditions at any time without giving prior written notice but will always endeavour to minimise the effect on participants to avoid undue disappointment. By continuing to take part in the promotion subsequent to any revision of these terms and conditions, entrants shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended terms.
b. If any provision of these terms and conditions is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
c. In relation to the promotion, O2's decision is final.
d. Where circumstances make this unavoidable, O2 shall not be liable for any failure to fulfil this offer where such failure is caused by any supervening circumstances amounting to force majeure. Such circumstances shall include, but shall not be limited to, postal strikes, terrorist attacks, website malfunction, adverse weather conditions, acts of God, economic crisis or network malfunction.
e. Sometimes, through reasons outside of O2's control, the App may not be accessible. O2 cannot guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the App. No responsibility will be accepted for any difficulties in claiming or any claims delayed or corrupted. O2 will have no liability for any loss arising out of such an event. O2 may at its absolute discretion disqualify any claims which O2 reasonably feels do not comply with these terms and conditions, or where any form of bad faith is suspected or where the spirit of the promotion has been compromised. All claims will be validated.
f. This promotion is governed by English Law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
g. The promoter of this promotion is Telefónica UK Limited, 260 Bath Road, Slough, Berkshire, SL1 4DX ("O2").
