Big Bundles 50% Extra data Offer terms and conditions

This promotion to get 50% extra data on top of your standard Big Bundle tariff allowance for three months (the "Promotion") is being promoted by Telefónica UK Limited having its registered office at 260 Bath Road, Slough SL1 4DX ("O2"). Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. These terms and conditions govern the Promotion.

  1. The Promotion is open to new customers who purchase a Big Bundle tariff ("New Customer"), existing Pay As You Go customers who switch to a Big Bundle tariff ("Switching Customer"), and existing customers who renew their existing Big Bundle tariff ("Existing Customer").
  2. The Promotion will run between 01 October 2015 – 31 December 2015 (the "Promotion Period"). O2 reserves the right to extend or shorten the Promotion Period at any time. 
  3. Provided that you are a New Customer, a Switching Customer or an Existing Customer and you top up with the minimum top up amount in your tariff band prior to the expiry of the Promotion Period, you will be entitled to 50% extra UK data on top of your standard data allowance as follows:
    • £10 Big Bundle= 250MB extra in addition to 500MB standard;
    • £15 Big Bundle = 500MB extra in addition to 1GB standard;
    • £20 Big Bundle = 1GB extra in addition to 2GB standard; or
    • £25 Big Bundle = 2GB extra in addition to 4GB standard (each an "Extra Allowance").

  4. If you are a New Customer you will receive the Extra Allowance automatically when you top up.
  5. If you are an Existing Customer or a Switching Customer you will need to:
    • opt into the Promotion by texting “BIGBONUS” to "2424" prior to the expiry of the Promotion Period; and
    • renew your Big Bundle within 30 days of opting in.
  6. After you have topped up (the "Activation Date") the Extra Allowance will be applied to your first bundle allowance after the Activation Date.
  7. Any subsequent Extra Allowance will be applied on the monthly anniversary date of the Activation Date (the "Top Up Date").
  8. You will receive a text message to notify you before the Extra Allowance is applied.
  9. The Promotion is limited to you receiving three (3) consecutive Extra Allowances after the Activation Date, after which you will not be entitled to any further Extra Allowance.
  10. To be eligible for an Extra Allowance, you must top up at least once prior to the Top Up Date. Failure to do so will result in you losing your Extra Allowance.
  11. If you switch to another non-Big Bundles tariff you will also lose your Extra Allowance.
  12. Any Extra Allowance left at the end of a month will not be carried over to your data allowance for the next month.
  13. The Extra Allowance is for UK data only and any Bolt On, travel package or data roaming charges are not included in the Extra Allowance and will incur additional charges.

  15. O2 reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Promotion at any time on reasonable notice.
  16. Any O2 decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  17. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promotion only includes the Extra Allowance and there will be no cash or other alternatives.
  18. If any provision of these terms and conditions is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.

The Promotion is governed by English Law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
