Pay & Go Talkalot 08 Terms & Conditions

  1. Talkalot 08 terms apply to all new and existing O2 Pay & Go customers who connect or transfer to one of the following free monthly allowance tariffs from 18 February 2008

  2. Talkalot 08 charges apply to UK calls to standard UK landlines (starting 01, 02 or 03 and Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man landlines) and calls to UK mobiles (excluding video calls) which are not included in the free monthly allowances for the tariffs set out above. Details of specific charges for other non-inclusive calls are either stated below or included on the links provided below in these terms and conditions

Your charge for UK calls to standard UK landlines (starting 01, 02 or 03 and Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man landlines), and calls to UK mobiles (excluding video calls) will be charged at 30p per minute. UK calls to standard UK landlines and UK mobiles made using any inclusive minutes allowance are counted by the minute not by the second and will be rounded up to the nearest minute. UK calls to standard UK landlines and UK mobiles made outside any inclusive minutes allowance are charged by the minute, not by the second, and will be rounded up to the nearest minute. Each call charge is then rounded up to the next whole penny. Unless otherwise stated, call rates include VAT.
  4. For new customers, depending on your chosen SIM pack, following your first top up, you will automatically be activated to receive your free monthly allowances (subject to meeting minimum top up requirements and terms stated below). Eligible customers may switch to different tariff monthly allowances subject to terms stated below. Only one tariff monthly allowance may be received each month.
  5. The day on which you first receive your free monthly allowance will be your 'renewal date' each month. The renewal date is the date by which you must have topped up by to receive your next month's free monthly allowances. You will receive a text message reminder 48 hours before your renewal date to notify you if you need to top up.
  6. If you fail to top up in the month before your renewal date, you will not receive any free monthly allowances. If this happens and you subsequently top up, your free monthly allowances will start again and your renewal date will be adjusted to the date of the month of your subsequent top-up.
  7. O2 Rewards payments do not contribute towards your monthly top up calculation.
  8. Free monthly allowances are limited to the levels outlined in your chosen tariff and are valid for up to one month from your renewal date.
  9. Unused free monthly allowances cannot be carried forward from one month to the next.
  10. Free monthly allowances apply to use in the UK only.
  11. Customers can switch tariff once every month. However, new tariff monthly allowances will only start from the next renewal date and only one tariff monthly allowance will apply at any time.
  12. Calls to O2 Customer Service on 4445 from your O2 mobile are 25p per call or you can call 0344 809 0222 from any phone. Hours of opening are 8am to 9pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm Saturday and 8am to 6pm Sunday.
  13. Calls to voicemail, including access to voicemail menus and voicemail retrieval, are charged at 20p per call.
  14. Any calls made whilst abroad, including whilst in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man, will be charged at standard roaming rates which can be viewed at o2.co.uk/abroad
  15. Any calls made and text sent from the UK to an international destination, including Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man mobiles, will be charged at standard international rates, which can be viewed o2.co.uk/international
  16. Charges for calls to 05, 08 and 07 service numbers can be viewed at o2.co.uk/servicenumbers
  17. Charges for calls to premium rate and directory enquiries numbers can be viewed at o2.co.uk/premium
  18. Calls to selected telephone help lines are free of charge. A full list can be viewed at o2.co.uk/free
  19. O2 reserves the right to remove, vary or amend any element of these terms. If any of the changes mean you're worse off, we'll let you know by text. These changes will start straightaway.
