International Extras terms and conditions

  • Available to O2's Pay Monthly and Pay & Go customers.
  • International Extras is in addition to your standard mobile agreement and general tariff terms. See o2.co.uk/terms
  • International Extras enables you to make voice calls to a limited number of international landlines and/or mobiles in specified countries outside the UK for a fixed one-off fee on the following terms:
  1. In exchange for a one off payment (the value of which will depend on which International Extras package you select) you will be given a specific number of voice minutes for calls to standard international landline numbers or standard mobile numbers in one of the Outbound Countries, for a period of no longer than 30 days (the "Calls").
  2. You may make the Calls from your Pay Monthly or Pay & Go sim to numbers in your selected Outbound Country. The following call types and number ranges are excluded from being part of the Calls: texts, picture messages, calls made whilst abroad, calls to premium rate or non-geographic numbers, calls to business switchboards, conference calls, calls to numbers for onward routing or revenue sharing purposes, calls to Inmarsat, calls using or to satellite phones (i.e. Thuraya), mobile traffic calls, machine to machine calls or calls to countries not included in International Extras.
  3. Calls must be for your private, personal and legitimate business purposes, if we reasonably believe that you are abusing this service then we reserve the right to disconnect you from International Extras, having attempted to contact you first. We will inform you of your balance before each call. All calls made will be rounded to the next whole minute
  4. There is no limit to the number of Calls you can make within International Extras each 30 days, just the total duration of them. Once your minutes have expired you will be able to buy more minutes.
  5. The Outbound Countries are: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Barbados, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Cameroon, Costa Rica, Egypt, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Jamaica, Kenya, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritius, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sri Lanka, St. Lucia, Trinidad & Tobago, Tunisia, UAE, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Zimbabwe.
  6. You can buy International Extras by text message using the process explained on our website and you can also re-purchase International Extras on the phone by calling 0203 505 0202. If you are eligible for International Extras then you will be charged using a chargeable SMS response which confirms you have bought International Extras. Your balance will be reduced or your next bill charged by the relevant amount as appropriate.
  7. Any unused minutes will not roll over from one 30 day period to the next.
  8. O2 reserves the right to remove, vary or amend any element of this offer upon reasonable notice. If we amend or withdraw International Extras to your disadvantage we will notify you. Notice will be provided by text message. Changes will be effective immediately upon our having notified you.
  9. These terms and conditions are governed by English law, and are subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
