Event: 'O2 Scrum on the Beach'

Teams will be responsible for travel and accommodation. Prize will include meet and greet with selected England players and an item of souvenir merchandise.

1. This Competition is open to teams participating in O2 Scrum on the Beach 2009 events (each winning team to consist of no more than 10 players), excluding employees of Telefónica O2 UK Limited or the RFU, or any of their subsidiary companies, their families, agents or anyone else connected with this competition. No third party entries or entries submitted by agents will be accepted.
2. The Competition runs during the Competition Period and entries after the specified dates and times will not be entered into the Competition. To enter this Competition, teams will participate in a game or multiple games of beach tag rugby at any O2 Scrum on the Beach 2009 event.
3. The team that shows the most style will win the opportunity to play in a touch competition at Twickenham at the end of the summer (date to be confirmed). One team from each of the 8 Scrum on the Beach events will win this prize.
4. Entries will be judged against style criteria (“Judging Criteria”), which might include how they play, the outfits they wear, how they conduct themselves (skill, sportsmanship, teamwork, etc) and will be selected on the final day of each event by an England player in conjunction with O2 and RFU representatives.
5. At events of more than one day, the winning team will be selected on final day and prize awarded and revealed on the day.
6. If a winner is not contactable, or if the prizes are unclaimed or declined within a reasonable period, the next best entry may be awarded the prize at O2's discretion and the winner notified. O2 will not be responsible for any inability of the prize winners to take up the specified prize.
7. The touch competition in Twickenham is comprised of the following:-
   Touch competition touch competition will consist of at least 8 teams who will each play several games, culminating in a semi-final and final. England players will be in attendance to coach the teams from time to time. Refreshments will be provided and an overall prize awarded to the winning team.
8. Participants satisfy the following criteria:-
   • Participants must be aged 16 years or over and anyone under 16 years of age must be accompanied by someone aged 18 or over;
   • To take part in the touch competition, participants will be required to sign a disclaimer, absolving O2 and the RFU of liability for injuries incurred through situations, outside of the control of O2 or the RFU.
9. Any additional terms specified by the venue will also apply. All participants agree to abide by the rules of the touch competition and O2 reserves the right to disqualify any participant who uses discriminatory or abusive language or otherwise objectionable behavior during the touch competition. O2 will not be liable for any change of date or venue or cancellation of the Event or any unavailability of any of the England players or coaching staff.
10. Anyone taking part in the touch competition will be solely responsible for travel to and from the venue, accommodation or any additional expenses incurred.
