Long Weekend Terms & Conditions

These prices were correct at the time of publishing. On 4 January 2011, the rate of VAT will increase to 20% and all of our prices will change to reflect that.

Customers who joined between 27 April and 29 June 2007

O2 Store Direct Promotions

  1. O2 Store Direct promotions are available to new and upgrading customers only between 27 April 2007 and 29 June 2007 on eligible Pay Monthly tariffs subject to the terms below. O2 reserves the right to withdraw or amend these offers at any time on reasonable notice. Participating customers will receive 30 days notice via text message if changes are made to their disadvantage.
  2. O2 Long Weekend call or text offers are available to customers connecting or upgrading to an eligible Pay Monthly tariff in O2 Stores (excluding o2.co.uk), O2 Customer Services and O2 Telesales only.
  3. "Pay Up Front" and "Pay Up Front for Life" customers must transfer to an eligible tariff to take up the offer. Please note, on transfer, any outstanding pre-paid line rental will be lost, and customers will be unable to return to a Pay Up Front offer.
  4. Eligible £35 and above O2 Store Pay Monthly tariffs include: O2 35 12 Month, O2 35 18 Month, O2 40 12 Month, O2 40 18 Month, O2 50 12 Month, O2 50 18 Month, O2 75 12 Month and O2 75 18 Month. Customers moving to an ineligible tariff will lose their promotional allowances. Existing customers are ineligible to take-up the promotion unless they sign a new minimum term contract on an eligible tariff.
  5. Eligible 18 month contract customers can choose one promotion, either: additional O2 Long Weekend calls or additional O2 Long Weekend texts.
  6. Eligible 12 month contract customers can choose one promotion, either: additional O2 Long Weekend calls for 6 months or additional O2 Long Weekend texts for 6 months.
  7. Promotional allowances only include usage in the UK and are limited to 2,000 Standard Minutes or 2,000 UK texts each month which can be used from 12.01 AM Saturday until 11.59 PM Monday each week of the promotion. Standard Minutes can be used to call Geographical Numbers starting 01, 02 and 03, O2 mobiles and other UK mobiles excluding 07744 and 07755 numbers. Calls to all Non Geographic numbers are excluded.
  8. Customers on 18 month contracts only can change their O2 Long Weekend promotional option once every 3 months by calling customer service. Customers on 12 month contracts are unable to change their O2 Long Weekend promotional option.
  9. Pay Monthly upgrades are not available until the end of any minimum term.
  10. All promotional allowances must be used within the month. Unused allowances cannot be carried over into subsequent months.
  11. Promotional allowances will be decremented before standard Pay Monthly tariff inclusive minutes and messages.
  12. Customers who disconnect and reconnect (for whatever reason) are not eligible for this offer.
  13. No cash alternatives are available. Promotional allowances cannot be transferred.
  14. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

O2 Online Direct Promotions

  1. O2 Direct Online promotions are available to new and upgrading customers only between 27 April 2007 and 29 June 2007 on eligible Pay Monthly tariffs subject to the terms below. O2 reserves the right to withdraw or amend these offers at any time on reasonable notice. Participating customers will receive 30 days notice via text message if changes are made to their disadvantage.
  2. O2 Long Weekends call or text offers are available to new online customers connecting via O2 Online (o2.co.uk) or O2 Telesales, and O2 Online customers upgrading through O2 Customer Services.
  3. Eligible £35 and above Online Pay Monthly tariffs include: Online 35 12 Month, Online 35 18 Month Texter, Online 35 18 Month Talker, Online 40 12 Month, Online 40 18 Month, Online 40 18 Month Talker, Online 50 12 Month, Online 50 18 Month, Online 50 18 Month Talker, Online 75 12 Month, Online 75 18 Month, Online 75 18 Month Talker, Online SIM Only £40 and Online SIM Only £50. Customers moving to an ineligible tariff will lose their promotional allowances. Existing customers are ineligible to take-up the promotion unless they sign a new minimum term contract on an eligible tariff.
  4. Eligible 18 month contract and SIM Only customers can choose either: additional O2 Long Weekend calls or additional O2 Long Weekend texts promotional options.
  5. Eligible 12 month contract customers can choose either: additional O2 Long Weekend calls for 6 months or additional O2 Long Weekend texts for 6 months promotional options.
  6. Promotional allowances only include usage in the UK and are limited to 2,000 Standard Minutes or 2,000 UK texts each month which can be used from 12.01 AM Saturday until 11.59 PM Monday each week of the promotion.   2. O2 Long Weekend and O2 to O2 call or text offers are available to customers connecting or upgrading to an eligible Pay Monthly tariff in O2 Stores (excluding o2.co.uk), O2 Customer Services and O2 Telesales only.

  5. Customers on eligible tariffs can choose one promotion, either unlimited O2 Long Weekend calls, unlimited O2 Long Weekend texts, unlimited O2 to O2 calls or unlimited O2 to O2 texts.
  6. Long Weekend promotional allowances only include usage in the UK from 12.01 AM Saturday until 11.59 PM Monday each week of the promotion. Calls forming part of the promotional allowance can be made to geographical Numbers starting 01, 02 and 03, O2 mobiles and other UK mobiles excluding 07744 and 07755 numbers. Calls to all Non Geographic numbers are excluded. Texts forming part of the promotional allowance can be made to UK mobiles only. Texts to international mobile numbers are excluded.
  7. On all unlimited promotions a fair usage policy operates above 2000 minutes or texts/month. O2 may monitor your usage and request you to moderate if, acting reasonably, we determine it to constitute abuse. If you fail to change your behaviour following such request we may disconnect your service.
  8. Eligible customers on 18 or 24 month contracts only can change their O2 Long Weekend promotional option once every 3 months by calling customer service. Customers on SIM Only tariffs can change their O2 Long Weekend allowance every 30 days.
  9. All promotional allowances must be used within the month. Unused allowances cannot be carried over into subsequent months.
  10. Promotional allowances will be decremented before standard Pay Monthly tariff inclusive minutes and messages.
