Traffic and Travel
Trafficline 1200 is O2's up-to-the minute traffic information service for Britain's roads and motorways. It helps you plan your route and avoid the jams - so you get to your destination faster.
How do I use it?
It's always best to call before you set off, but if you're en route, either ask a passenger or pull over when it's safe to:
- Dial 1200 from your mobile (Corporate Mobile Extension Customers dial 91200). Trafficline 1200 knows where you're calling from and will give you an up-to-the minute traffic report for that area
For up-to-date traffic info on any other motorway or A road across the UK:
- Press 1 then the motorway number for information relating to an individual motorway e.g. for M60 information, press 1 then 60
- Press 2 then the trunk road number for information relating to an individual road. So for A58 information, press 2 then 58
- Press # to change direction or skip a section
- Press * to repeat the last section
Please note: unfortunately, Trafficline 1200 is not available in Northern Ireland - mainland UK only.
We've improved the service
We've made some changes to Trafficline 1200, to give you more information, faster.
You can:
- Press 8 to listen to detailed, up-to-date incident information on a delay when it's available. We'll prompt you when we have more information and you can choose if you'd like to listen to it.
- Press 3 for travel information to and around The O2 in Greenwich
How much does it cost?
Trafficline 1200 costs 45p per minute for all O2 customers.
Safer driving
At O2 we know you want up-to-the-minute information and the latest facts at your fingertips. However, more than anything, we want you to be safe. So when you're on the road, please give it your full attention.
