O2 Connection Manager™ is our software for your laptop that helps you connect to different types of wireless networks quickly and easily. The days of changing settings on your laptop when using different types of mobile connections are over. Use Connection Manager to connect to Mobile Web, using either your mobile phone or datacard.

Windows 2000, Original, SP1 or SP2: if you wish to use the Infrared port with a mobile phone, you will need to install the IrCOMM patch.

Use our special software with your laptop to make Mobile Web go even faster, when using GSM GPRS or even 3G! Created by Bytemobile Inc, and extensively tested by O2, this software will speed up receiving web pages, sending and receiving internet email, and even lets you change the graphics quality of the pages you access.

Technical Details:

• Windows 98/98SE, ME, 2000 or XP required, Windows NT4 is not supported
• At least 10MB free hard disk space
• Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher.

Used in conjunction with O2 Connection Manager, your laptop will be correctly setup. If you already have a Mobile Web connection or your laptop and just want to use the Optimisation software, you need to make one change to your configuration:-

• The username for your connection profile must be changed to faster (all lower case, no spaces)
