So that you can remember where to send your photos to, manually save an entry for O2 Photocards in the address book or contacts on your mobile phone as 61234.
Alternatively, you can always text PHOTOCARD to 80202 and you’ll receive a text back that tells you where to send your photos to.
If you’re an O2 customer and are already set up for Media Messaging, you should be able to start using the service straight away by sending your photo in a Media Message to 61234.
If you don’t have a Media Messaging mobile phone, then you won’t be able to submit a photo to start the service.
For more information on Media Messaging enabled mobile phones and/or the settings, please click on the "Media Messaging" link below.

Some mobile phones don’t have the Predictive Text function, which means that some key functions will vary. If you’re having trouble entering numbers or special characters into the form, then please refer to your mobile phone’s User guide.
If you’ve sent more than one photo to 61234 and you’ve lost the WAP messages or selected the wrong one, the image preview on the form may not show the photo you want to send.
To choose a different image select the link at the bottom of the form, labelled "Send Previous Photocard" and it will show you a list of all the photos you’ve submitted, whether the images were sent as Photocards already (Sent Cards) or not (Unsent Cards).
When you’ve chosen the one you want, simply select the relevant link. The preview image area (and possibly the message details) will then be updated.
The quality of the photo printed on the front of your Photocard depends on the quality of the photo as it was captured on your mobile phone.
Some mobile phones allow you to change the photo capture quality to a better one, however this does mean that any photos you take at that higher quality will also be bigger (and use up more memory on your mobile phone).
O2 Photocards are charged at £1.50 plus the cost of the Media Message. If your tariff includes a free Messaging allowance, your message will be deducted from your bundle.
The O2 Photocard charge will appear on your monthly statement as "MMS Photocard" or taken from your Pay & Go™ credit.
When abroad, the O2 Photocard charge will remain at £1.50.
You can use the Photocard service at any time by sending your photo in a picture message to 61234. You’ll need to be in an area that has GPRS coverage, so that your message can be sent and you can receive the WAP message response.
You can also use the Photocards service while you are abroad to send your holiday snaps and stories back to friends and family in the UK. The Photocard service is available from countries that O2 has GPRS roaming agreements with.
Click on the "GPRS Networks" link below for a complete list of countries and for further information.
No. The photos and text captions printed on the front of Photocards are subject to restrictions outlined in the terms of use of the service at www.o2.co.uk/termsconditions/productsandservices.
All images and text captions are moderated during the service, and images that breach these guidelines may result in the Photocard request being rejected.
Text captions that breach these guidelines may be altered by use of asterisks where appropriate, or if a text caption and image together contextually breach the guidelines then they may result in the Photocard request being rejected.
Personal messages printed on the back of Photocards will not be moderated, however the Photocards can be identified by unique IDs printed on them that would allow the recipient to ring up and report a Photocard that they felt was inappropriate.
Where a Photocard was reported in this way, the recipient would not be given details of the person who sent them the Photocard, but the matter (and sender’s details) could be provided to the Police or other relevant authority where appropriate.
Once you’ve completed your Photocard request by submitting a photo and completing the WAP form, the Photocard enters an automated printing and posting service, and you cannot change any of the details.
If you want to change any of the details before you’ve completed the WAP form, simply re-select the field you want to change and edit the text.
Once you’ve completed your Photocard request by submitting a photo and completing the WAP form, the Photocard enters an automated printing and posting service, and your order cannot be cancelled.
If you want to cancel your order before you have completed the WAP form, then simply exit the WAP form (do not submit it), and your Photocard will not be processed.
