Stop commands
How to set up or cancel TXT Alerts from your mobile phone.
You can easily subscribe to our TXT Alerts by text message. Simply find the service you're looking for below and send the sign-up command to the shortcode.
If you then wish to cancel those alerts just send the appropriate STOP command to the same shortcode or reply with the keyword "STOP" to the alert.
Important: The STOP commands will only work if you have subscribed from your mobile phone using the sign-up command. If you have signed up via the O2 website, please go to the "My alerts" section of the O2 website or on O2 Active.
Alternatively, contact customer service to unsubscribe using "Cancel my Alerts" in the subject line.
Please note: Sending in the keywords STOP to the alert or shortcode could result in multiple services being switched off.
