Mobile Data Allowances
From 24th June 2010, we stopped offering unlimited data with our mobile tariffs and introduced tariffs that included a data allowance instead.
Pay Monthly customers can now get up to 1GB plus unlimited Wi-Fi* each month depending on the number of minutes included in your tariff. Pay & Go customers on Text & Web or Simplicity tariffs get 500MB plus unlimited Wi-Fi*.
The vast majority of you use less that 500MB a month, but we’ll text you the amount of data you’ve used so you can stay in complete control.
* Unlimited Wi-Fi is offered through our Wi-Fi partners The Cloud and BT Openzone.

What happens if you use up your data allowance?
We’ll text you when you’ve used 80% of your monthly data allowance to let you know you’re almost at your limit. Once you’ve used the rest of your allowance we’ll text you again to let you know and you’ll experience a slower data service until your next bill cycle starts. If you use your data allowance and need more before your next billing cycle starts, you can top up your data allowance. You can buy one of each optional data Bolt On per month, giving a maximum monthly limited of 4.5GB. After the maximum additional data is used, speeds will be slowed for the rest of the month. Terms apply.
Any data bought using a one-off Bolt On will not roll-over and will be removed at your next monthly billing date. If you have a recurring data Bolt On your new data will be added to your existing monthly data allowance at the start of every monthly billing cycle.

One-off data Bolts ons are just that; One off. Once the data is used up, it’s gone.
