O2 Home Broadband

In May 2013, Sky officially purchased O2 Home Broadband and Home Phone so this means your contract is now officially with Sky.

Over the last few months Sky and O2 have been working together to ensure the transition is as smooth as possible. Some of you have chosen to move over to Sky straightaway, whilst others are waiting to be moved over by Sky. We can now confirm that Sky plans to start moving O2 customers over to Sky from October 2013.

Changing your package and adding bolt-ons

If you need to change your package, you'll need to contact Sky direct. Simply call 08442 414 592*, Sky will then migrate you over and make any changes during this process.

Moving home

If you're moving home you'll need to contact Sky directly on 08442 414 592*

Your o2.co.uk email

When your service moves to Sky you'll still to be able to use your o2.co.uk email address for the time being with a reduced inbox storage allowance of 20MB. If your O2 inbox exceeds this, you will need to remove some emails and stay under this limit to continue to receive emails. Once you have moved over to Sky and set-up your My Sky you can generate your own new unlimited Sky account.

Your other O2 Products and services

The sale of O2 Home Broadband and Home Phone doesn't affect your any of your other services, such as your mobile tariff.

O2 router

You'll be able to keep using your O2 router when you move over to Sky.

Your O2 contract

We've previously written to you to let you know that your contract has been transferred to Sky Home Communications Limited who has agreed to perform all obligations under the contract. This does not affect the minimum term of your contract. For the time being, Sky Home Communications Limited will continue to supply your chosen O2 Home Broadband and home phone products on the same Terms & Conditions until you transfer over to Sky. Before you move over to Sky under the migration process, you will be supplied with a new set of Terms & Conditions for your new Sky services. However, you will not be subject to a minimum term for your new services (unless you chose to move earlier on one of Sky's offers).
