This pay-as-you-go solution is free to set up online. And you can manage your message account wherever you have an internet connection.

What you will need

  • A link to our network. This can be either a fixed link into the O2 network from your premises via a kilostream connection, or a virtual connection using the Internet (this requires a public IP address)
  • Software compliant with SMPP V3.3

How much does it cost?

You pay a one-off connection charge for the link to the O2 network. There is no minimum fee - you are charged per message sent. But the more you send, the less you pay.

How long to set up?

It only takes 15 to 20 working days to set up once we've received your application.

Working together

Know the message you want to communicate to lots of people but need a hand to make it happen? We can help. We'll send your text messages over our network from your application. We call this our 'Message Partnering Service'. And it only takes 15 to 20 working days to set up once we've received your application form.

How much does it cost?

You pay a one-off connection charge for the link to the O2 network. There is no minimum fee - you are charged per message sent. But the more you send, the less you pay.

What you need:

  • A link to our network. This can be either a fixed link into the O2 network from your office, or a virtual connection via the Internet, which requires a public IP address.
  • Message-generating software. (SMPP V3.3 compliant). This is available from a wide range of suppliers who can offer a variety of packages to suit your needs. We can point you in the right direction.
