Franchise costs and responsibilities
As a potential O2 franchisee you will need the minimum of £40,000* readily available. You will also need sufficient working capital to fit out and stock a new O2 store.
Estimated total start-up costs are £140,000 + VAT* (excludes any ongoing working capital requirements)
Access to loan facilities may meet these requirements.
You will need to apply by submitting the O2 application form and be invited to one of our Regional Roadshows before we can release further financial details, subject to completion of a confidentiality agreement.
The Franchisee is responsible for:
• Property - leasing and fit out plus basic office equipment e.g. till and photocopier
• Staff - recruitment and payment
O2 is responsible for:
• Connection Bonuses
• Upgrade Bonuses
• Post Pay Revenue Share
• Pre Pay Handset Margins
• Insurance Commission
• Quality Bonus
• Store design guidance
• Training/recruitment programme
• Store systems
• Supplying handsets
• On going support with a customer help line
