O2 Connection Manager

The days of changing your laptop’s settings whenever you need to use a different mobile connection are over. With O2 Connection Manager, you can connect to Mobile Web through your O2 Data Card and manage your GPRS, 3G and WLAN connections through a single interface. You’ll have the protection of SIM authentication and it’s all free

Getting started

To download O2 Connection Manager, you’ll need at least 50MB free space on your hard drive, Internet Explorer^® 5.5/SP2 or higher and video capable of 256 colours and 800x600 resolution.

 O2 Connection Manager is compatible with the following operating systems:

• Windows® 2000 SP3
• Windows 2000 SP4
• Windows XP Home with SP1
• Windows XP Home with SP2
• Windows XP Pro with SP1
• Windows XP Pro with SP2
• Windows Tablet 2005 Edition SP2
• Windows Media Centre SP2
• Windows Vista will be supported in the next release (Autumn 2007)

The software will support equipment using 802.11a, 802.11b and 802.11g WLAN standards and WEP and WPA encryption. It’ll also support the following O2 devices:

• O2 Data Card U530 (Novatel U530)
• O2 Data Card Tri-Band U630 (Novatel U630)
• Data Card Novatel U730
• Data Card Novatel U740
• O2 Data Card 750 (Sierra Wireless AC750)
• O2 Data Card 850 (Sierra Wireless AC850)

Installing O2 Connection Manager

Download the software and save it your hard drive. Double click on the O2 icon and the installation wizard will take you through the process. Once this is done, you’ll be ready to go.

If you’ve already installed an old version of O2 Connection Manager, we recommend that you uninstall it before downloading the latest version.
