Pay & Go tariff charges and terms

By switching tariff, any free allowances of minutes, texts or browsing you currently receive will be replaced by the free monthly allowances outlined on the previous page in your chosen tariff and the standard call rates. If you switch tariff, you will not be able to switch back to your current call rates.

You can switch tariff once a month and your new free allowances will start from your next anniversary date, which is the date given to you the first time you top-up

  1. If you connect in-store the default tariff will be Favourite Place and we will send you a text to ask for your postcode.
  2. Excessive usage policy applies. The text allowance can only be used for texts in the UK to UK registered mobile phones only. It excludes picture messages.
  3. Data usage for customers on Pay & Go tariffs with no data allowance (e.g. O2 Unlimited and International sim) or for data usage over and above a customer's tariff data allowance (e.g. Text & Web) and/or data Bolt-On will be charged at 1p per 3 kilobytes and capped at a maximum of £1 a day. After that, you have unlimited use of O2's UK Edge/GPRS/3G networks (as applicable to your handset), subject to excessive usage policy and limit of 50MB per day. Browsing outside the UK will be charged at £3 per MB for Europe and £6 per MB for rest of the world. Exclusions apply.
